Play him by choosing a target carefully, using walls to adjust your approach, and committing to fights only when you have a workable route in and out. His ultimate is strongest when enemies stay in his line of sight long enough for its damage and Blind to ramp.
How Daredevil’s kit works
Daredevil’s abilities revolve around Fury: some attacks build it, while Infernal Fury spends it to activate Devil’s Chain or Devil’s Throw. His official hero profile, dated October 9, 2025, classifies him as a Duelist and lists the following abilities and values: NetEase’s Daredevil hero profile.
Generate Fury with Justice Jab and Righteous Cross
Justice Jab is a Billy Club melee attack. The profile lists 35 damage, a maximum distance of 4.5 meters, and 15 Fury gained on hit. Connecting reliably matters: misses do not provide the listed on-hit Fury.
Righteous Cross crosses the Billy Clubs and surges forward, gaining Fury when it hits. The profile describes a five-second window to use it after qualifying abilities. Exact button behavior and current values can be checked in the game client.

Spend Fury with Infernal Fury
Infernal Fury spends 60 Fury to unleash one of two attacks. Devil’s Chain is a short-range chain attack that can convert damage into Bonus Health; Devil’s Throw is a ricocheting projectile that slows targets and enables Righteous Cross. The profile lists the Throw’s slow at 20% and its damage at 30 per projectile.
There is an unresolved value discrepancy for Devil’s Chain. The hero profile lists 40 damage and 65 damage in its high-damage range, while the January 13, 2026 balance post says that high-range damage was reduced from 80 to 75. Because those official sources conflict on the resulting value, don’t rely on a precise high-range figure without checking the current client.

Use Objection! as a defensive option
Objection! is a defensive Billy Club ability. Its enhanced form can deflect projectiles from all directions while making Daredevil invincible, according to the profile. The profile also describes team-up enhancements; those should not be assumed to be active in every match.
Reposition with Devil’s Latch and Blind Ascent
Devil’s Latch is associated with grappling surfaces and positioning. The January 2026 balance post reduced Fury gained from a surface grapple from 2 to 1.

Blind Ascent lets Daredevil run along walls and spring off them to change elevation or angle. The profile lists wall-crawling speed at 10 meters per second. This is a movement tool, not evidence that wall movement protects him from incoming damage.
How to use Sonic Pursuit without overcommitting
Sonic Pursuit selects a target, increases Daredevil’s movement speed, and provides 10% damage reduction when he is attacked. The profile lists target selection up to 40 meters, but the dash has a shorter 12-meter selection range. Treat those as separate ranges: selecting someone at long distance does not mean Daredevil can immediately dash to them.

The dash has a listed 15-second cooldown and grants 60 Fury. Defeating the selected target refreshes the cooldown. These mechanics reward choosing a reachable, vulnerable target rather than locking on simply because an enemy is visible. The 10% damage reduction is limited protection, not a reason to treat the approach as safe.
What Radar Sense and the ultimate actually reveal
Radar Sense
Radar Sense detects enemy movement within a listed maximum distance of 40 meters. The profile does not specify pulse timing or which visibility situations it covers, so don’t assume it provides continuous wall vision or reveals every enemy state.

Let the Devil Out
NetEase describes the ultimate this way: “Embrace the Beast within. Enemies in Daredevil’s line of sight take damage and suffer a ramping Blind effect. Continually gain Fury while active.” The profile lists an eight-second duration and a maximum distance of 15 meters. It also lists damage rising from 50 to 85 per second, with three seconds to reach maximum damage and Blind; Fury recovery is 30 per second. The listed blind visual range decreases from 35 to 10 meters as the effect reaches its maximum.
The practical implication is to cast where you can maintain close, clear line of sight. Since damage and Blind ramp over time, a brief glimpse or an enemy quickly breaking sight may yield less than sustained exposure. That is a tactical inference from the listed mechanics, not a claim of tested results.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.A cautious loop for learning Daredevil
- Build Fury before committing. Land Justice Jab and use other qualifying abilities to generate Fury; check the resource before expecting to use Infernal Fury.
- Pick a target and check the route. Sonic Pursuit can select at up to 40 meters, but its dash-selection range is 12 meters. Consider whether the target is actually reachable and whether there is a useful exit.
- Choose the right spend. Use Devil’s Chain for its short-range attack and Bonus Health conversion, or Devil’s Throw when its projectile, slow, and Righteous Cross follow-up fit the situation.
- Change angles with walls. Blind Ascent and Devil’s Latch can help reposition or alter a retreat path. Neither ability description establishes protection from damage while moving.
- Save the ultimate for sustained sight. Look for a close, clear line of sight where enemies are less able to break contact immediately, so the ramping effects have time to build.
Team-up and patch notes to keep in mind
The hero profile describes Blind Verdict as sharing Daredevil’s Sonic Pursuit target location with The Punisher, allowing The Punisher to launch a devil-infused shock grenade. Team-up availability and details can change, so verify the combination in the current client before building a plan around it.
The January 13, 2026 official balance post for Version 20260116 records three Daredevil changes: Devil’s Chain high-damage range damage from 80 to 75, Devil’s Throw projectile damage from 32.5 to 30, and Fury from Devil’s Latch surface grapples from 2 to 1. The Throw’s 30-per-projectile figure matches the hero profile; the Chain figure does not. The latest surfaced official balance post here, Version 20261009 dated October 6, 2026, lists changes to other heroes but does not list Daredevil. That absence does not establish a complete intervening patch history, so use the current client for live values.
