Cash App Pay and the Cash App Card are different

Cash App Card: The Cash App Card is a network card, not the same thing as Cash App Pay. The reviewed Cash App card agreement describes U.S.-issued card programs and allows card purchases at merchants accepting Visa debit, subject to available funds, transaction limits, and the agreement’s other terms. If Steam offers Visa debit for your store country, the card may work—but this is an inference from the published rules, not a tested Steam purchase or a guarantee of approval. Steam’s available payment methods depend on the account’s current store country. Steam says the applicable options are listed during checkout, so the checkout page for your account is the definitive way to see whether a card network or Cash App Pay is available. What to do if Steam declines the Cash App Card
A declined transaction does not by itself prove that Steam categorically rejects Cash App Cards. Steam lists possible causes such as spending limits, incorrect card details or CVV, suspicious-activity flags, and an expired card. Check the card information and available funds, then follow Steam’s troubleshooting guidance. If the issue persists, contact Cash App or the card issuer; a retry is not guaranteed to succeed because issuer authorization and Steam’s checks still apply.
