Steps to compliment Osana

Start a conversation with Osana and enter the Socialize interaction.

Choose Compliment from the interaction options.

Why “You’re loving!” is the right choice
The compliment should match the student’s persona. Osana is identified as a Lovestruck rival in the community-maintained Osana reference, and the compliment reference associates “You’re loving!” with the Lovestruck persona. YandereDev also explained in a January 5, 2024 development update that the correct compliment depends on the student’s persona. The Socialize interface presents 18 possible compliments, so choose the one that fits the persona rather than selecting one at random.

What if Osana responds differently?
A different response line does not necessarily mean you chose the wrong compliment. In a September 1, 2025 development update, YandereDev said the 54 persona- and reputation-specific compliment responses had been restored. The exact line can therefore depend partly on your reputation.

The community-maintained compliment reference reports that an incorrect compliment does not reduce reputation or friendship points. That detail is community-sourced, not confirmed in the developer updates cited above, so it should not be treated as verified behavior in every current build.
