To complete Yura’s main quest, help him defeat the Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin at Raya Lucaria, speak with him afterward, then find him at the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau. Do these steps before reaching the Mountaintops of the Giants: the quest reference says that entering the area locks Yura’s progression and shifts the story to Shabriri at Zamor Ruins. The two Limgrave encounters are optional.
Before you start: do Yura’s quest before the Mountaintops
Reaching the Mountaintops of the Giants is the cutoff described by the quest reference. If you want Yura’s full sequence, complete the Raya Lucaria and Second Church of Marika steps first. If you have already reached the Mountaintops, see the recovery section below.
Optional Limgrave encounters
These meetings add context and dialogue, but they are not required for the central Raya Lucaria-to-Altus progression. The two encounters can be completed in either order.
Meet Yura at Seaside Ruins
- Go to the Seaside Ruins Site of Grace, southwest of Agheel Lake.
- Speak to Yura beneath the nearby ruin and exhaust his dialogue.
- His summon sign can appear for the Flying Dragon Agheel encounter. After the dragon fight, speak with him again for more dialogue.
Help against Bloody Finger Nerijus
- Enter the ravine north of Agheel Lake and head toward Murkwater Cave.
- Bloody Finger Nerijus invades. Yura appears to assist after the fight begins.
- Defeat Nerijus, continue through the ravine, and speak with Yura beneath a bridge.
Raya Lucaria: defeat Ravenmount Assassin with Yura
- In Liurnia, go to the Main Academy Gate Site of Grace.
- Find Yura’s red summon sign northeast of the grace and interact with it to join his fight against Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin.
- After the fight, speak with Yura on the nearby bridge and exhaust his dialogue.
The quest reference lists a Smithing Stone [5] as a reward for this encounter. This is the central step leading into Yura’s Altus Plateau sequence.
Second Church of Marika: get the Nagakiba and face Eleonora
- Travel to the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau.
- Speak with Yura, who is lying inside the church. The reference says he dies and leaves the Nagakiba.
- Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, then invades. Defeat her to receive Eleonora’s Poleblade and the Purifying Crystal Tear.
The Nagakiba is tied to Yura’s church sequence; Eleonora’s Poleblade and the Purifying Crystal Tear are tied to defeating Eleonora.
If you have already reached the Mountaintops
The quest reference says reaching the Mountaintops locks Yura’s quest, regardless of which earlier steps you completed. Shabriri appears at Zamor Ruins in Yura’s body. The Nagakiba is left at the place Yura would have been, based on your quest progress; check his last relevant location if you missed it.
