You can’t sign up for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test now: registration opened on January 10, 2025, and the test ran February 14–17, 2025. The official notices reviewed do not establish another registration window. At the time, players applied through Bandai Namco’s registration page, but selection was random and a sign-up did not guarantee a code.
Can I still register for the Nightreign network test?
No. The documented registration and test dates have passed, and the available official notices do not establish a new sign-up period. The old registration link was nightreign.com/nt; the sources reviewed do not establish whether that page is still operational.

How did sign-up work for the 2025 test?
Bandai Namco’s January 10 announcement directed interested players to nightreign.com/nt. The announcement does not preserve a complete application walkthrough, so there is no verified set of form steps to reproduce.
Registration was an application for a chance to participate, not a guaranteed invitation. Bandai Namco said winners would be selected at random and contacted by email. Its correction notice stated: “Signing up and updating your platform preference does NOT guarantee a code.” The notice also specified one code per account.

Which platforms were eligible?
The 2025 network test was for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Steam briefly appeared as an option on the registration form by mistake; it was not an eligible test platform. Bandai Namco’s announcement also listed platforms for the eventual retail game, but those should not be confused with access to the test.
| Test platform | What applicants needed |
|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | A PS5 and a valid PSN account, under the American correction notice’s eligibility terms. |
| Xbox Series X|S | An Xbox Series X|S and a valid Xbox account, under the American correction notice’s eligibility terms. |
| Steam | Not eligible for the test; Steam appeared in error on the form. |
The official notices do not establish different selection odds or performance advantages between the two eligible consoles. For the American notice, the practical choice was the eligible console and account the applicant already had.

What was the Steam selection correction?
Applicants in the scope of Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s correction notice who had selected Steam were told to change their preference to PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, or remove themselves from the registrant pool. The stated deadline was January 20, 2025, at 5:59 a.m. PST. That correction deadline has passed.
Who was eligible under the American notice?
The correction notice for North, Central, and South America said applicants had to be at least 17 years old, reside in one of those regions, and have a valid PSN or Xbox account. These terms come from the American notice and should not be assumed to describe eligibility in every territory.

When did the test take place?
Bandai Namco scheduled the test for February 14–17, 2025. FromSoftware’s announcement reported the start as February 14, 2025, at 8 p.m. JST. Both the correction deadline and test window are in the past.
What can you do now?
Nightreign is now a released game, not an active network-test application. Bandai Namco’s current game page labels it “Available Now” and lists PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. FromSoftware’s February 13, 2025 announcement gave the retail release date as May 30, 2025, and listed the same platform families, including Steam for PC. A copy of the released game is separate from the historical test: buying it does not grant a test code or bypass the past selection process.
