When did Kirby Air Riders come out?
Kirby Air Riders released for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 20, 2025. Nintendo’s US product page lists it as available now and confirms that a physical edition can be bought. The game is exclusive to Switch 2, according to Nintendo’s UK listing.

Is City Trial back?
Yes. City Trial returns in the city of Skyah, where riders explore and collect power-ups before taking on a final challenge. It supports solo play and multiplayer, both locally and online. Nintendo lists online City Trial matches for up to 16 participants.

How does City Trial multiplayer work?
Online paddocks can hold up to 32 people overall, but an individual City Trial match within a paddock is capped at 16 participants. Online play requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Nintendo added online play, local wireless and LAN play in an update released June 2, 2026; see its update support page and multiplayer guide for details.
