Genshin Impact Version 5.4, “Moonlight Amidst Dreams,” launched on February 12, 2025. When did Genshin Impact Version 5.4 launch?
HoYoverse released Version 5.4 on February 12, 2025. The official update notice said maintenance began at 07:00 Korea Standard Time and was expected to last five hours. The notice listed 300 Primogems as maintenance compensation, calculated at 60 Primogems per hour of server downtime. It separately listed 300 Primogems for issue fixes, subject to the notice’s eligibility requirements and claim deadline. What were Version 5.4’s featured characters and event wishes?
The official announcement divided the character event wishes into two halves:

Mizuki debuted in the “Dawn’s Drifting Reverie” event wish after the Version 5.4 update. HoYoverse’s character showcase identifies her as a five-star Anemo character and said she would be added to the standard “Wanderlust Invocation” wish in the version after her event wish ended. That announcement describes the plan at the time; it is not a statement about current wish availability. HoYoverse’s Mizuki character showcase has the details.
What events and activities did Version 5.4 add?
The update’s promotional centerpiece was the Mikawa Flower Festival in Inazuma. HoYoverse’s English preview named the main event “Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival” and highlighted several activities with different formats:
