The August 12, 2021 Tech Times article named 10 NFT games besides Axie Infinity, but it split them into seven games in its main list and three entries labeled “Upcoming NFT Games.” Its list is a historical snapshot, not a current ranking or confirmation that every game launched or remains playable.
The seven games in the main list
Tech Times’ main list covered card games, a virtual-world platform, a blockchain metaverse, a racing game, and fantasy sports. These are the article’s descriptions as published in 2021; they should not be read as confirmation of present-day features, access requirements, or token use.
1. Gods Unchained
The article described Gods Unchained as a free-to-play trading-card game. It said players could obtain cards by buying them from other players or winning PvP matches, and characterized the cards as ERC-721 tokens tradable using the $GODS token.
2. Splinterlands
Splinterlands was presented as a tradable card game with rewards for winning matches. The article said players needed to buy a card starter pack and register a Steam account, and mentioned $SPS and combining duplicate cards. Those access and token details are historical, not current instructions.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret the list
The article’s “Top 10” headline is best understood as a roundup of ten names, not a consistently measured ranking. Its structure separates seven main-list games from three upcoming entries, and it gives no shared scoring method or comparable evidence for ranking them by quality, popularity, player counts, profitability, or investment potential. It also says some titles were listed on CoinMarketCap and that others came from Tech Times’ prior reports or BlockSocial; that account does not independently validate a ranking methodology.
The descriptions and token references above reflect what Tech Times reported on August 12, 2021. They do not establish current operation, mechanics, token utility, or access requirements. Check a game’s current official information before relying on any of those details.
