Toronto Game Expo 2026 takes place Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The organizer describes this year’s show as a bigger two-day event, with more than 600 exhibitor tables, 100+ gaming experiences, arcade and console play, tournaments, tabletop and card gaming, and a guest program. Tickets start at $30 for single-day admission, and the organizer says prices rise on November 6, 2026.
Dates, hours and venue
The show runs over one weekend in November, not in October as the headline’s “this month” would suggest. Hours published on the organizer’s official event page are:
| Day | Date | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday | November 7, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
| Sunday | November 8, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. |
The venue is the Better Living Centre, 195 Princes’ Blvd, Toronto, on the Exhibition Place grounds. Exhibition Place describes the event in its own listing as “the city’s premier event for gaming and pop culture enthusiasts.”
Tickets and entry times
The organizer’s official ticket information, as checked on October 8, 2026, lists the following options. Prices are shown as “from” amounts and can change before the show.
#1 Best Overall
- [CHOOSE YOUR THEME] Select "Birthday Pink" for elegant glitter party passes perfect for girls, spas, and red-carpet events, OR choose the "Hunter/Gamer" editions for immersive dark anime and system level-up themes.
- [PREMIUM ENVELOPES] Stand out from generic white envelopes. Our Movie/Gamer sets include 20 Luxurious Black Envelopes with Gold Borders, while the Birthday Pink set features 20 Creative "Open-Window" Sleeves that elegantly reveal the inner ticket.
- [HEAVYWEIGHT QUALITY] Both styles are crafted from 250g matte cardstock designed for a premium feel and easy writing. The thick paper prevents bending, and the non-glossy finish ensures your handwritten event details dry instantly without smudging.
- [STUNNING VISUAL EFFECTS] Elevate your invitations with style-specific details. The Birthday edition features real Hot Stamping Gold Foil text for a luxury shimmer, whereas the Gamer and Movie editions utilize high-definition printing to simulate glowing neon lights.
- [COMPLETE PARTY KIT] Every set includes 20 Invitation Tickets and 20 Matching Envelopes or Sleeves. Perfectly sized to fit in pockets or wallets like real event passes, making them ideal for kids, teens, and adults hosting any themed celebration.

The FAQ says early-entry ticket holders also get in at 10:00 a.m., alongside VIP. If you want the early start without paying for VIP, check the early-entry option on the checkout page. The organizer says ticket prices increase on November 6, 2026, so buying before that date is the cheapest route for any tier.

|---|---|---|
| Ghost GiRL’s Tiny Tavern | $20 | Sunday |
| Proxy Party Workshop | $35 | Saturday and Sunday |

What is on the show floor
Shopping and collectibles
The exhibitor page describes more than 600 tables. Categories include video games, collectibles, anime, toys, art, consoles, plushies and model kits. These are the categories the show represents, not a guarantee of any particular seller or item being present.
Arcade, console and free play
Arcade and console free play is a core part of the event, with retro gaming areas alongside current systems. Attendance at free play is included with admission.
Tournaments
The tournament circuit listed by the organizer includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Tournament entry is a paid add-on starting at $5 (see the table above).

The organizer lists autographs, photo opportunities and panels with guests. The announced guest list is not presented as complete, so check the organizer’s guest page for later additions and for timing of each signing or panel.

What “bigger” means in practice
The organizer’s own figures are the basis for the “bigger” claim. Its event page advertises “10,000+ attendees,” “600+ exhibitor tables” and “100+ gaming experiences.” These are promotional numbers published by Toronto Game Expo. The listing does not say whether 10,000+ is a projection, a target or a count from an earlier show, so treat it as the organizer’s figure rather than a verified attendance number. The official pages reviewed do not give consistent year-over-year comparisons, so growth from the previous edition is not independently confirmed.
Getting there
The official FAQ says the Better Living Centre is accessible by TTC and GO trains. The listing does not provide route-by-route directions or parking costs, so check the venue’s own transit and parking information before you travel.
Who the event suits
- Families: the Kids Zone, free-play arcade games and console and retro areas are the organizer’s main family offering.
- Collectors and shoppers: the exhibitor floor is the largest draw by table count.
- Competitive players: the tournament circuit runs both days, with paid entry.
- Tabletop and card players: tabletop, RPG, chess and Pokémon/TCG activities are listed across the weekend.
Before you go
- Check the organizer’s official event page for the final timed schedule. As of October 8, 2026, session times for panels, tournaments and signings were not published in the listing reviewed.
- Confirm the guest schedule closer to the show, since the announced guest list may change.
- Recheck ticket prices and add-on availability on the official ticket page, because the sources reviewed may not reflect later changes.
Plan around Saturday if you want the widest range of programming, since it runs longer than Sunday.
