To complete the Totem of Perseverance in Avowed, collect its core, The Huntmaster’s Spoils, and six fragments in Galawain’s Tusks. The most reliable route cues are named landmarks: the Shrine to Galawain, Bridge to the Garden, Slumbering Fields, Pargrun Cache, Ash Forest Outpost, and Mount Forja Summit. Pieces can be collected in any order; assemble the set at a party camp.

Use the in-game regional or local map to identify these named landmarks. Published guides sometimes describe compass directions differently, so the landmark is a safer anchor than a bearing.
Where to find the core and the clearly described routes
The Huntmaster’s Spoils core
Find the core on an altar at the Shrine to Galawain. Guides place the shrine around Twinedwood but describe its position differently; follow the shrine marker on your map rather than relying on a compass description. GameSpot’s walkthrough and Gamer Guides’ fragment guide both identify the shrine.
Antler of the Persevering Stag
At the Bridge to the Garden in southeast Galawain’s Tusks, search beneath the western part of the bridge. Take the side path under the structure and look for the ledge below; continuing across the bridge will take you past the approach described by GameSpot.

Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying
Start from the Slumbering Fields fast-travel point and head north through the arches. Follow the route toward a ledge and small ruins; the arrows are in an open chest. Another guide describes the final area as a chamber among rocky platforms north of the fields, so use the arches and ruins as the main route cues rather than expecting identical step-by-step directions.

Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving
Search the Lost Village and Pargrun Cache area in northern Galawain’s Tusks. GameSpot describes entering the cache area from the south through a spider cave and turning left toward ruins; Game8 places the piece southeast of the cache. These approaches do not establish one certain final bearing, so use the cache as your navigation landmark and check the nearby ruins. Game8’s walkthrough identifies the fragment and its broad area.

Antler of the Pursued Stag
Look near the Pargrun Cache for a barrier that Yatzli can dispel; this is the reported clue for reaching the antler. The available route descriptions do not establish a precise approach, so use the local map to search around the cache rather than treating a specific direction as confirmed.
Wolf’s Pelt Trophy
Check for a tower around Ash Forest Outpost, northwest of Ash Forest. Published descriptions disagree about the tower’s position relative to the outpost, with one placing it atop a tower at the outpost and another giving a different nearby bearing. Confirm the tower against the local map.

Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking
At Mount Forja Summit, reach the summit exit and inspect the climbable rocks to the right. The summit and climb are the available route cues; consult the map to pick out the precise climb.

The quest can begin after you collect any Huntmaster’s Spoils fragment. For additional location clues, buy “Fragments of the Spoils” from Quartermaster Yorgu at Solace Keep. GameSpot notes that these clues do not add map markers, so use them as hints rather than expecting the pieces to appear on your map.

- Return to a party camp.
- Assemble the totem there to receive its passive bonuses.
What the Totem of Perseverance does
Gamer Guides reports that the assembled totem provides passive bonuses involving damage to prone enemies, bleed buildup on critical hits, an automatic Barbaric Shout when using Second Wind, damage reduction after kills, +2 Might and +2 Constitution, and movement speed after kills. These are guide-reported effects; check the in-game totem description for the exact current wording and values.
