Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E. was announced as a community-influenced multiplayer shooter built around Ubisoft’s Eden universe, with Arbitrum providing its blockchain foundation and Sequence supplying blockchain tools. Its original launch plan and promised NFT perks are now historical context: Ubisoft’s Eden Online site says the Eden Battle Arena is closing and gives existing players a June 30 claim-and-mint deadline, but the notice does not state the year.

What was Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E.?

Ubisoft Labs, the Arbitrum Foundation, and Sequence unveiled Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E. on August 6, 2024. The project was presented as a transmedia game expanding the world of Netflix’s animated series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. The announcement also named characters and worlds from Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Beyond Good and Evil among its influences. The announcement described a top-down multiplayer shooter and a setting in which players were citizens of Eden.

The announced design aimed to let players influence the experience by completing challenges and creating or sharing content. Ubisoft said that citizens could build a score and gain influence over narrative and game decisions. Those were the project’s stated goals, not proof that every proposed feature operated as described.

What did Arbitrum and Sequence do?

The partners had distinct roles. Arbitrum was named as the blockchain foundation for the game’s first activation and core; Sequence was to provide blockchain tooling. In practical terms, the collaboration connected Ubisoft’s game project to blockchain-based identities and digital items. The announcements do not establish that players needed to buy a physical product to participate.

What was the launch plan, and what were Niji Warrior IDs?

A December 11, 2024 announcement scheduled the game’s launch for December 18, 2024. It described Niji Warrior NFT IDs as free-to-mint identities intended to bring holders early access, governance participation, rewards, VIP community channels, and opportunities to engage with developers. These were benefits described in the launch announcement; they should not be read as a guarantee that each perk remains available now. The launch announcement includes the original schedule and feature descriptions.

What is the game’s current status?

As of October 8, 2026, Ubisoft’s Eden Online site says the Eden Battle Arena is coming to a close. Its notice says players already signed up can continue to access the game, claim shop items and Battle Pass collectibles, and mint them on the E.V.M. until June 30. The accessible notice does not specify the year, so the deadline cannot be dated more precisely from that notice alone. Players should check the official site directly for any updated instructions before relying on the deadline.

The site describes Niji Warriors as collectible identities connected to Ubisoft worlds and discusses skins, emotes, and rewards as items to claim and mint. These are digital game assets; the cited sources do not establish a physical edition or physical product required to play.

Is the Trackmania crossover the same game?

No. Ubisoft Nadeo separately announced a Captain Laserhawk-themed Eden environment for Trackmania on October 20, 2023. That crossover included a Laserhawk car skin for Club Access and, for PC players, a dedicated mod and 3D track-building items. It is a separate Trackmania feature, not the launch or current access status of Captain Laserhawk: the G.A.M.E.. Ubisoft Nadeo’s announcement describes that crossover.
