What Ubisoft confirmed
On September 1, 2025, Gounon shared a video message for Rayman’s 30th-anniversary celebration. He said: “A very talented team at Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are currently working together on the future of Rayman. That confirms active work on the franchise’s future, but not the identity of a particular project. Ubisoft provided no announcement date or other timetable.
Is Ubisoft making a new Rayman game?
Ubisoft has said that the two studios are working on Rayman’s future, but the September 2025 message did not explicitly announce a new game. It named no title and did not confirm a remake, platforms, preorder details, or any other release information.

Is Rayman 4 confirmed?
No. The anniversary message did not mention Rayman 4. Insider Gaming separately reported that preliminary plans for Rayman 4 could depend on the success of a remake. That is a media report, not a confirmation from Ubisoft. Insider Gaming’s report
What has been reported about a remake?
Insider Gaming reported that a Rayman remake had begun development under the codename “Steambot,” with a tentative target of late 2026, based on people familiar with the project. Earlier, in October 2024, Ubisoft described work on the Rayman brand as being in an exploration phase and at an early stage, according to Gematsu. When is the next Rayman game coming out?
Ubisoft has not announced a release date or said when it will share more. Insider Gaming’s reported late-2026 target applies to the rumored remake and is tentative; it is not an official date for the next Rayman game.

What else was part of the 30th-anniversary celebration?
Ubisoft said the anniversary program would share behind-the-scenes material, anecdotes, developer interviews, concept art, and other content through its community channels.
