Undisputed is most appealing if you want a boxing game built around a broad roster and distinct fighters. Reviews have praised its in-ring action and roster, but questioned its career depth; an older PS5 review also reported technical problems. It is a qualified recommendation for boxing fans, not an obvious pick for players seeking a rich career story or consistently polished play.
What is Undisputed?
Undisputed is a boxing game developed by Steel City Interactive and published by Deep Silver. It is separate from THQ’s older UFC Undisputed games. The official page lists it for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Steam records the PC release as October 8, 2024; Push Square lists October 11, 2024 for the PS5 release.

The publisher says the game includes over 100 boxers. That is the publisher’s roster figure, rather than an independently verified count. Steam lists single-player, online PvP, and shared/split-screen play.
How does the boxing and roster hold up?
Push Square’s European PS5 review, published October 13, 2024 and scored 7.8/10, praised the range of fighter stats and attributes, saying boxers feel distinct. TheSixthAxis’s October 2024 PS5 review scored the game 6/10 and also praised the roster and general in-ring action. These are reviewers’ assessments of the versions and conditions they encountered, not a standardized comparison across platforms.

The roster is a central part of the game’s appeal: a large selection matters most if you enjoy choosing between fighters with different attributes and styles. The publisher’s “over 100” claim gives a sense of scale, but does not by itself establish how complete or satisfying the roster feels to every player.
Is career mode worth playing?
Career mode has several supporting roles and systems. Push Square noted the ability to hire a coach, cutman, and manager, but found the presentation dry. Gaming.net’s review, updated April 2, 2026 and covering PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, described the career as shallow and repetitive.

If your main reason to play is building a fighter through a long, story-rich career, the available reviews offer reason to temper expectations. The mode has more than a bare match menu, but these assessments do not suggest that its progression and presentation are a major strength.
What about performance and polish?
TheSixthAxis reported input lag, slowdown, and stuttering in some fights in its October 2024 PS5 review. Gaming.net’s review, updated April 2, 2026, also reported bugs and gameplay imbalance. Those are attributed review observations, not confirmation of the game’s current technical or balance state: updates may have changed the experience, and no current patch status or platform-by-platform performance comparison is established here.

For that reason, older performance complaints should be treated as a caution rather than a description of every current session. Check recent platform-specific player feedback if technical performance is decisive for your purchase.
Which platforms and controls should you know about?
The official page lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Steam. On Steam, a controller is required; the listing says keyboard and mouse are unsupported. Console buyers should use controllers compatible with their chosen platform. The publisher’s page offers direct downloads or a “Buy Now” option for finding local stockists, while availability and editions vary by region and platform.

Is Undisputed worth buying?
It is a better fit for players who want boxing action, a sizeable roster, and fighters that reviewers have described as distinct. It is a less certain choice if you expect a deep career narrative or are unwilling to tolerate possible rough edges. The evidence spans a 2024 PS5 review and a review updated in 2026 covering multiple platforms, so it supports a qualified verdict rather than a guarantee about current performance on every system.
Steam’s user score is also only a moving snapshot of Steam reviewers, not a permanent or platform-wide verdict: on October 8, 2026, Steam showed 58% positive from 13,935 English reviews and 44% positive among 101 recent reviews. Treat those figures as dated context, not a substitute for the review distinctions above.
