Roblox Error Code 267 means you have been removed from a specific experience because its creator banned your account there. Roblox’s current Support article labels the code “Banned from an Experience,” and it states that the ban was issued by the experience creator for violating Roblox Community Standards within that experience, not by Roblox. Your account is not banned from Roblox as a whole, and you can still use other experiences and platform features.
What the code tells you, and what it does not
The code is about scope. It points to one experience and one decision made by that experience’s creator. Roblox’s Support article is the user-facing reference for this code, and it does not describe a platform-wide suspension when it lists 267.
That leaves three things a 267 message does not establish on its own:
- It does not show that Roblox banned your account globally. The Support article specifically attributes this ban to the experience creator.
- It does not reveal the creator’s full reasoning. The error text may include an experience name or a reason, but the code alone does not explain the rationale behind the decision.
- It is not fixed by connection troubleshooting. A ban issued by an experience creator is a moderation decision, so restarting your router or reinstalling Roblox will not reverse it.
Reading the full message matters more than the number. Two players can both see 267 while facing different situations, which is why the experience name and any stated reason are the first details to record.

Why the kick message comes from the experience
Roblox’s Creator Hub documents Player:Kick(message), a method that forcibly disconnects a player and can optionally display a message. That is the experience-side mechanism behind a kick dialogue: a script written by the creator, not a Roblox-wide enforcement tool, decides to remove you and what the message says. This is also why wording varies. A message such as “You were kicked from this experience” is a common pattern, but the exact text is supplied by the experience, so treat it as an example rather than a fixed string.
How 267 differs from a denied join
A Roblox Developer Forum thread about the Ban API reports a timing difference that is useful context, though it is a developer discussion rather than an official Roblox Support statement. According to that post, a player who is already in a server and is banned receives a kick dialogue showing 267, while a later attempt to join the experience can instead produce error 600. Use this only to understand what you are seeing. The exact text and timing on your screen are what matter.

What to do, step by step
- Copy the full message, including the experience name and any reason. Take a screenshot if the text disappears.
- Try a different experience on Roblox. Roblox’s Support article says the player can still use other experiences and platform features, which confirms whether the problem is limited to one title.
- Contact the experience creator. Roblox lists these routes: Roblox messaging or chat, the experience’s community wall when one is available, and social links on the creator’s profile, community, or experience details page.
- When you write to the creator, state the exact message you received, the experience name, and the context you believe is relevant. Ask for a review rather than demanding reinstatement.
- Wait for the creator’s response. Repeated messages in a short period are unlikely to change the outcome and may be treated as harassment.
What Roblox Support can and cannot do
Roblox Support states that it cannot remove a ban issued directly by an experience creator and cannot contact that creator on your behalf. Going to Support for a reversal will therefore not produce one; the creator is the only party with that authority.
Avoid any method that promises to bypass the ban, including alternate accounts or third-party “unban” services. These can lead to further action against your account. Purchases are not an appeal route either. Roblox notes that creators cannot issue Robux or monetary refunds for purchases made on the Roblox platform, so a purchase made in the experience is not a way to reverse a ban.
