A fan-made P.T.-inspired creation was reported as playable through Dreams in 2024, and Sony says the PS4 game Dreams can be played on PS5. That does not mean the original P.T. has returned to the PlayStation Store or is officially supported on PS5. The remake’s current Dreamiverse listing has not been verified, so finding it today is not guaranteed.
What is playable on PS5?
The reported remake is an unofficial community creation made in Dreams, not a re-release of P.T.. In a 2024 report, the creation was described as playable through Dreams, but its exact current Dreamiverse title and availability are not confirmed. Sony describes Dreams as a game for creating and browsing community-made experiences, while its official PlayStation Store listing says the PS4 game is playable on PS5. Sony also cautions that some PS4 features may be absent on PS5; that note applies to Dreams, not to the original P.T..
So, if by “P.T. on PS5” you mean a recreation inside Dreams, there may be a community-made route to try. If you mean the original teaser, that is a different game with a different availability situation.
How to look for the Dreams creation
DreamSurfing is Dreams’ community browsing feature for finding creations uploaded by other players. You can search there for P.T.-inspired work, but the available information does not establish the creation’s current listing or an exact title to search.

- Open DreamSurfing and search for “P.T.” or “PT remake.”
- Check the creator and description to determine whether a result is the fan-made horror experience you want; search results may include unrelated creations.
If no matching result appears, that does not prove the report was false: community creations can be difficult to identify without a verified title, and the present listing has not been confirmed.

Does this mean the original P.T. is back?
No. The Dreams route is a fan recreation, not a way to download the original teaser from the PlayStation Store. Reporting says P.T. was removed from the store in 2015, and a November 2020 report said it was not supported for PS5 backward compatibility. That reporting concerns the original P.T., not a recreation built in Dreams.

A separate 2022 report described running P.T. on a jailbroken PS5 through a special workaround. That is not an ordinary supported PlayStation route and should not be confused with playing a Dreams creation on an unmodified PS5.
