Why this list is short
This is a conservative snapshot of official PlayStation announcements, not a complete calendar of every publisher’s plans or every territory’s release schedule. A game qualifies for a PS4 list only when the announcement confirms both its PS4 platform and a date that is still in the future as of October 8, 2026. A PS5 date alone does not establish a PS4 release.
Several PS4 dates in earlier 2026 announcements have already passed and therefore do not belong in a current upcoming list: No Sleep for Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files was dated February 26, Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse March 5, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered March 3. PlayStation.Blog’s January 2 early-2026 roundup covered the first two dates; the PlayStation.Blog PS4 category page listed the Legacy of Kain announcement. Those past dates alone do not establish current store availability or confirm that a release was completed.
