The old Prime Vault program has been permanently replaced by rotating Prime Resurgence offerings, so the clearest answer is that Rhino Prime is not currently featured—rather than simply “still vaulted.” Check Varzia in-game for the latest live availability.
What “vaulted” means for Rhino Prime now
Digital Extremes said in its September 14, 2022 patch notes that the Prime Vault had “closed for good” and that Prime Resurgence replaced it. The new program rotates which Prime items are offered. The official Prime Resurgence page currently displays Protea Prime and Ivara Prime, not Rhino Prime.

That page is dynamic, and Varzia’s in-game shop is the practical place to confirm the live offering. Rhino Prime has returned in past rotations, but the current listing does not establish a date for another return.
Has Rhino Prime returned before?
Yes. Digital Extremes announced on January 27, 2025 that Rhino Prime would return to Prime Resurgence alongside Ember Prime beginning February 6, 2025. That confirms a past return, not a schedule for the next one.

How to get Rhino Prime when it is offered
| Route | What you use | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Earned | Aya and Void Relics | Earn Aya, trade it with Varzia for relevant Relics when offered, open those Relics in Void Fissure missions, then craft the required components in the Foundry. |
| Direct purchase | Regal Aya, a premium currency | Exchange Regal Aya with Varzia for Prime items she currently offers. This route only applies if Rhino Prime is listed; Regal Aya cannot be traded. |
Digital Extremes says Aya can drop in places where Void Relics usually drop and can also be earned from Bounties. Varzia is accessible in Maroo’s Bazaar, from the Orbiter Relic Segment, or through the in-game Market. See the official Prime Resurgence information for the current process and offerings.
