Why a large launch audience and negative reviews can coexist
A concurrent-user peak is a measure of launch activity, not approval. It counts how many users were playing at the same time at a particular peak; a review rating reflects the opinions expressed by reviewers. A game can therefore attract a large launch crowd and still receive poor reviews, just as a later rating can differ from an early reception.

Digital Bros Group said in its July 24, 2025 corporate update that on launch day, it recorded over 130,000 concurrent users on the platform.
The figure refers to Steam on launch day. It does not establish the game’s current player count, sales, or continuing popularity.
What Steam reviews say now
The two available figures describe different review pools. Steam’s store page shows English-language reviews, while SteamDB reports an all-language aggregate. They should not be read as competing scores for an identical set of reviews.

These are snapshot figures, not fixed scores: review totals and percentages can change. “Overwhelmingly Negative” is historical launch-era framing, not the current English-language label reported for the Steam store page in this snapshot. The available figures do not establish exactly when that historical label appeared or why the rating changed. They also do not isolate the effects of updates, review-language display, or changes in who reviewed the game.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is an action RPG starring Bai Wuchang, a pirate warrior afflicted by the mysterious Feathering. Steam lists 505 Games as its publisher. The game released on Steam on July 24, 2025; Digital Bros said it launched for PC and consoles and was available through Xbox Game Pass.

Steam’s listing includes a Deluxe Edition, a Deluxe upgrade, a digital soundtrack, and PC system requirements. The official Steam Community announcements also describe a Laced Records double-LP vinyl soundtrack whose pre-orders opened. That announcement does not establish whether the vinyl is currently available to order or in stock.
