Check TPM in Windows, then use Activision’s Secure Attestation Wizard to verify that your PC meets the requirements. Players who fail attestation can face restricted Warzone access, so check before joining a match.
Why Warzone players should check now
Activision’s June 4, 2026 Season 04 patch notes say players who fail Microsoft Azure Attestation are placed in a separate matchmaking pool. In Warzone, players who do not complete attestation are limited to Battle Royale Casual. A party member’s PC can also cause an attestation failure message for the group.
Check TPM 2.0 in Windows
- Press Windows key + R to open Run.
- Type
tpm.mscand press Enter. - In the TPM Management window, look for “The TPM is ready for use” and confirm that the Specification Version is 2.0.
If Windows says a compatible TPM cannot be found, it may be disabled in your PC’s UEFI/BIOS, or the hardware may not support it. Activision lists Windows 10 version 22H2 or later and any Windows 11 version among the supported operating-system requirements. Its guide identifies Intel 8th Gen or newer processors with Intel PTT, and AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer processors with AMD fTPM, as TPM 2.0-capable platforms. Check your specific system documentation to confirm support.
Verify Secure Boot and overall compliance
Run Activision’s Secure Attestation Wizard to check whether your PC meets the requirements and get guidance. The support page lists version 1.1.3, updated August 6, 2026.

Secure Boot depends on the way Windows starts: Activision’s guide requires UEFI boot mode, not Legacy mode, and a GPT disk partition style, not MBR. The wizard is a compliance check; it does not replace the device maker’s instructions for changing firmware settings.
If a setting is disabled or unavailable
UEFI/BIOS menus and labels vary by PC and motherboard maker. Use the official manual and support documentation for your exact model before changing anything. Activision warns that incorrect firmware changes can cause system problems, including preventing the PC from booting.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If attestation still fails
If TPM and Secure Boot appear enabled but the wizard reports an error, check the TPM manufacturer version shown in tpm.msc. Activision notes that some AMD TPM software versions in the 3.x.0.x range can cause attestation errors; a system BIOS or firmware update may be recommended. This is a possible cause, not a universal fix.
