Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 Reloaded launched May 1, 2025, bringing Battle Royale Ranked Play back to Verdansk, restoring the moving train, and adding two limited-time Resurgence modes. Raven Software’s detailed notes also record follow-up playlist changes and fixes through May 13, so the update was not a single launch-day patch. These are historical patch details; they do not establish which playlists are active now.
What Season 03 Reloaded added to Verdansk
The April 29 announcement previewed the mid-season update for May 1 at 9 AM PT across platforms. Its main Verdansk additions were Ranked Play in Battle Royale, the return of the train, two limited-time modes, new access at Train Station, and Vertical Ascenders across the map. Call of Duty’s announcement described the Triumph TF 250-X as an in-game vehicle coming to Verdansk.
The moving train
The train returned as a loot and traversal feature, with multiple access points that let squads board and defend it. Raven Software’s May 13 notes add that it carries a Recon Contract that respawns, giving players another reason to revisit it. Read Raven Software’s detailed patch notes.
Train Station access and Ascenders
The Train Station’s East Wing opened additional loot and flanking routes. Vertical Ascenders also returned across Verdansk, offering another way to move through the map.

How Verdansk Ranked Play worked
Ranked Play returned in Battle Royale as a Trios playlist on Verdansk. Its patch specification was 150 players across 50 teams. Players had to earn top placements in 20 matches before they could queue for Ranked: finishing in the top six squads in Resurgence or the top 15 in Battle Royale counted. Battle Royale Casual and Bootcamp matches did not count toward the requirement.
Ranked progression was adjusted, including a higher elimination SR cap of 200 SR per match. Restrictions also changed: launchers were unrestricted to help counter vehicles, and Trophy systems were added to Buy Stations.

How the two limited-time modes differed
Both featured modes were listed as Verdansk Quads with 120 players. Their central difference was the match mechanic:

- May 7: Raven said it was investigating reports of disconnects after the update. In Ranked Play, Restock replaced Fire Sale while the team gathered data after monitoring the in-game economy. Raven explained its aim was to reduce incentives to stockpile cash and encourage strategic spending, particularly in the mid-to-late game.
- May 9: Battle Royale Ranked Play was re-enabled after an SR-reward issue was resolved. The note said estimated SR and deployment fees that had been removed incorrectly would be reflected after players logged in.
- May 13: The notes specified that Restock replaced Fire Sale in circle 3 and listed bug fixes, including an armor-plate animation issue and other gameplay issues.
Are these playlists still available?
The official announcement and patch notes describe the 2025 update and its changes, not the live playlist rotation in October 2026. They therefore cannot confirm whether Ranked Play, High Trip Resurgence, Massive Resurgence, or any particular feature remains available today. Check the current in-game playlist selection or a current official Warzone update for live availability.
