A July 2025 report said Activision was asking players to provide a valid date of birth and that minors without parental consent could have their accounts deleted within four months. That deadline is a reported claim, not a rule confirmed on Activision’s current support page. If you have an account question, Activision lists dedicated support options for date-of-birth and parental-consent issues.
What the reported requirement is
The report describes an age check on an Activision profile: players were asked to enter a valid birth date, and players under 18 without parental consent could face account deletion within four months. It names Warzone and Black Ops 6 as examples. This is an account-age and consent issue, not a new console or PC hardware requirement.

Those details come from a NextPit article dated July 17, 2025. The publisher page now redirects away from the story, so its full text could not be reviewed. Activision’s current support page lists help categories for date of birth and parental consent, but does not confirm the four-month period or identify which games the reported policy covers. The deadline and game list should therefore be treated as claims from that report, not as a universally applicable, currently verified policy.
