To unlock The Waverider, complete Vox Solaris and read Roky’s message in your Inbox. The quest asks you to complete K-Drive challenges shown in a Yareli comic. Finishing it rewards Yareli’s main blueprint; you must get her Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems blueprints separately through Clan Dojo research.
How do I unlock The Waverider?
- Complete the Vox Solaris quest.
- Open your Inbox and read the message from Roky. Reading it unlocks The Waverider.
Completing Vox Solaris also grants the basic Bondi K-Drive Launcher, according to Warframe Support. It summons a Bondi K-Drive, which cannot be modified or fitted with mods.
How do I complete the Waverider quest?
Activate the quest and complete its K-Drive challenges page by page. The challenge list appears in the pause menu; hover over an objective for its in-game instructions. You can also read the Yareli comic in the Ventkids’ Clubhouse in Fortuna. The comic has a “Skip All” button for its narration.
Digital Extremes’ Update 34 notes describe 15 challenges, arranged as three on each of four pages. The list below reflects those notes; use your in-game tracker if an objective’s wording or requirements differ in your current version.

- Perform Copter five times.
- Complete a K-Drive Race.
- Kill five enemies with a Secondary Weapon while riding a K-Drive.
Page 2
- Perform Nose Planker or Tail Planker five times.
- Get five seconds of airtime on a K-Drive.
- Get five headshot kills with a Secondary Weapon while riding a K-Drive.
Page 3
- Keep a K-Drive trick chain alive for 10 seconds.
- Perform Frontside Rollout five times.
- Perform Backside Rollout five times.
Page 4
- Perform two ×10 combos.
- Complete two different K-Drive races.
- Get five slam kills with a K-Drive. Slam kills count when you land on enemies or kill them with Slam Shockwaves.
The challenge list and slam-kill clarification come from Digital Extremes’ Update 34: Abyss of Dagath notes, which document the quest’s challenge adjustments. The notes are from 2023; they do not establish whether later updates changed the live objectives.
How do I get Yareli’s parts?
Completing The Waverider awards Yareli’s main blueprint, but not her three component blueprints. To obtain those, research Yareli’s Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems in the Ventkids’ Bash Lab inside a Clan Dojo. You need access to a Clan Dojo to use its research facility.
