This is a patch-aware reference to the weapons documented in Fatshark’s released Patch 1.13.0 notes, not an exhaustive inventory of every weapon currently in the game.
Version context: what the Patch 1.13.0 entries tell you
Fatshark’s official announcements index showed Hotfix 1.13.2, dated October 6, 2026, as its latest listed update. Its notes cover fixes and tweaks, not a broad weapon rebalance. The weapon descriptions and balance changes used here come from the released Patch 1.13.0 notes for Depths of the Damned. That does not establish that every weapon detail below remains unchanged in 1.13.2 or a later update.
Fatshark also published a September 18 article titled “PREVIEW – Upcoming Balance Changes.” It describes planned changes, so a preview entry should not be treated as live unless it is confirmed in the released patch notes. The entries below are documented in 1.13.0; the available notes do not provide a complete, current numerical export of all weapons and marks.
Weapons documented in the 1.13.0 release notes
Read each row as a mark-specific entry. “Not stated” means the cited release notes do not establish that detail; it is not a claim that the game lacks the feature. Weapon descriptions are Fatshark’s stated design information, not independent performance testing.

How to compare marks and weapon roles
Do not assume that two marks in one family share the same handling or class access. Fatshark’s patch notes distinguish attack chains and attack profiles between marks, and the examples above show other meaningful differences: one weapon may be class-restricted, another may have a cooldown-based shockwave, and a shotgun may change how it fires depending on aim and barrel use.
- Check class access first. A weapon’s role is irrelevant if that class cannot equip it. The notes explicitly list the compatible classes for some entries, while others give only a partial class description.
- Match the attack pattern to the job. Consider the light and heavy chains, windup, and whether the weapon rewards deliberate pacing. For the Cruncher, Fatshark’s notes describe stronger attacks after longer held windups; they also emphasize pacing between attacks.
- Separate range intent from proven performance. “Close to medium” for the Huntsman’s Shotgun and “mid-to-long range” for the Thugshot are Fatshark’s descriptions, not results from comparative testing.
- Read the special as part of the trade-off. The Slab Shield’s planted defensive stance requires the Ogryn to remain still; the Crusher’s empowered hit is followed by a cooldown. Those mechanics make the special actions distinct, not interchangeable.
- Use the exact mark and patch when checking balance. Blessings, access, attack chains, special actions, and balance values can change. The 1.13.0 notes contain patch-specific attack profiles, numerical values, and fixes; an old number should not be treated as current without checking later notes.
What the official descriptions do—and do not—establish
Fatshark’s weapon feature presents design intent. On the Cruncher, weapon designer Matteo called it “a big sledgehammer” that is “HUGE” even for an Ogryn, then described its attack pacing: “you need to pace your attacks so that you can hit the enemies and leave as small of a gap as possible between them.” These comments help explain the intended feel, but they are not a measured comparison against other melee weapons.

Fatshark has also described its general balancing approach in the Nightmares & Visions notes: “We approached this objective by tweaking values, but also by adding new features and attack chains, or by shifting the power budget of the weapons, with the goal of giving each of them clear strengths and weaknesses.” That is why weapon comparisons should account for chains and special actions as well as headline stats.

This reference covers selected weapons and marks described in the released 1.13.0 notes, including weapons associated with the Depths of the Damned update. It is not a complete list of every Darktide weapon, mark, compatible class, current stat, attack chain, or blessing. The official material covered here does not establish a comprehensive current catalog or player-outcome statistics, so a missing detail should not be filled in by inference.
