AI LIMIT’s weapons are in-game equipment found through exploration, and weapon skills are part of how you customize a build. For exact locations, scaling comparisons, or recommendations, use resources that identify their game version: the available location and scaling guides are community-maintained, and weapon-skill balance has changed in updates.
How weapons fit into AI LIMIT
The official Steam listing describes AI LIMIT as a single-player action role-playing game for Windows and PlayStation 5. It presents exploration of ruins as a way to find weapons and equipment, and says players can mix and match weapons with weapon skills.
That makes a weapon more than a piece of equipment to collect: the weapon skill is one of the choices that shapes how it fits a build. The listing also identifies Opossums Sais as an in-game weapon included with the Deluxe Edition. It is a virtual edition-specific item, not a separate physical accessory.
Where to look for weapon locations and comparisons
The Steam Community guides index lists a guide titled “All weapons & spells including DLC,” described as covering weapon and spell locations. The index also lists a weapon-scaling comparison table. These are useful starting points for finding community-compiled information, but their index entries alone do not establish that either resource is complete or current.

For a particular weapon, check the underlying guide rather than relying on its title or a copied list. Confirm its version and whether it covers the base game, DLC, or both. The available indexed information does not establish a complete current inventory, every acquisition route, exact attack values, scaling formulas, or a definitive best weapon.
Why weapon-skill advice needs a patch version
The official Steam update index reports Patch Notes 1.2.004, announced September 22, 2026, with adjustments to named weapon skills. Its indexed update text includes Envenomed Blade — Disperse Toxin, Hunter’s Blades — Reckless Spin, Materialism — Eureka, and Holy Embrace — Plume Cyclone. A skill recommendation or damage comparison can therefore become outdated when balance changes; tie such advice to the patch it describes.

How to compare weapons when you have current item data
A scaling table or location list is only useful if its assumptions are clear. When comparing options, check:
- Moveset and reach: Compare the attacks and their effective reach, not just a weapon’s name or category.
- Character stats: Note the stat allocation used for any scaling or damage comparison.
- Upgrade level: Compare weapons at equivalent upgrade levels, or state the difference.
- Weapon skill and patch: Identify the skill being used and the game patch that governs its behavior.
- Availability: Include where the weapon is acquired and how early in a playthrough it becomes available.
Without those details, a ranking may reflect a particular build or patch rather than a general answer for every player.

Do not treat early weapon lists as definitive
A Steam Community discussion from March 25, 2025 mentions longsword, greatsword, spear, and dual blades in a conversation about demo-era expectations, while expressing uncertainty about the final lineup. That informal discussion is not a reliable current taxonomy for the released game. Use a current, versioned inventory instead of assuming those are the only weapon types.
