How to get to West Weald
ESO Support gives two ways to reach the zone: travel to the Skingrad Vineyards Wayshrine, which it describes as automatically unlocked, or start the Gold Road chapter’s opening quest, “Paths of Chaos.”
- Travel from the zone map: Open the map, select Gold Road, and travel to the Skingrad Vineyards Wayshrine.
- Start the chapter quest: Open Collections, choose the Gold Road chapter story, and begin “Paths of Chaos.”

How to use a West Weald treasure map
- Open your inventory and right-click the treasure map, then select Use to view its sketch. ESO Support describes this basic interaction in its treasure-map instructions.
- Compare the sketch with the terrain and landmarks around you. The drawing is a location clue, not a map marker that automatically leads you to the chest.
- Locate the X on the sketch in the world. At the exact spot, look for a dirt mound.
- Interact with the mound to dig up the hidden treasure.
West Weald treasure-map locations
ElderScrollsOnline.com Guides lists six regular West Weald treasure maps and three Collector’s Edition maps. Its regular-map coordinates are community-maintained references, not official ESO documentation. Use them to narrow your search, then confirm the terrain against the sketch. The guide’s comment section includes player-submitted corrections, so check its visual map and notes if a coordinate does not match what you see.

Regular maps and Collector’s Edition maps
The guide distinguishes six regular maps from three Collector’s Edition maps. The coordinates above refer to the six regular maps. The source material does not establish matching coordinate references for the Collector’s Edition maps, so do not assume a regular-map coordinate identifies one of those chests.
