Jetragon is the fastest unmodified mount in the cited Palworld 1.0 data, with a ride-sprint value of 3300. A fully optimized Eidrolon or Eidrolon Ignis can reportedly reach 3410 with four matching party Pals and four-star condensation, but that is a specific build—not the base-stat result.
Fastest mount by movement type
“Fastest” depends on whether you mean a mount’s listed sprint stat, a particular movement mode, or the shortest trip over a real route. PalMods’ fan-maintained dataset sorts 115 rideable Pals by the normalized rideSprintSpeed field. It was extracted August 13, 2026, and compares game-data values rather than timed journeys. See the PalMods rideable-Pal dataset.
| Movement category | Mount | Reported value | What the value means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overall unmodified ride sprint | Jetragon | 3300 | Highest ride-sprint value in the cited PalMods dataset |
| Flying, next in the cited ranking | Panthalus | 3000 | Ride-sprint value in the cited flying ranking |
| Flying, third in the cited ranking | Shaolong | 2800 | Ride-sprint value in the cited flying ranking |
| Ground | Hartalis | 1900 | Ground leader in the cited dataset |
| Water | Neptilius | 2000 swim-dash; 1120 land-side | Palworld Database reports separate values for water and land movement |
The Neptilius figures come from Palworld Database’s Neptilius entry. Its 2000 swim-dash value should not be compared directly with a flyer’s in-flight dash or a land mount’s sprint: those describe different movement modes.
Can any mount outrun Jetragon?
Yes, under a particular party setup. Palworld Database reports that a fully condensed Eidrolon or Eidrolon Ignis can reach 3410 with four matching Pals in the party. That figure depends on the source’s stated four-star condensation and party assumptions; it is not an unmodified mount stat. For a base-stat comparison, Jetragon remains the answer in the cited dataset. Read the Eidrolon entry.

Why the highest speed stat may not mean the fastest trip
A normalized sprint value is useful for comparing entries in the same dataset, but it does not establish how many seconds a mount will take to cross a particular map route. Terrain, acceleration, animations, collisions, partner effects, passive skills, settings, saddle access, and route geometry can all affect practical travel. Stamina matters too: a mount’s top sprint is only one part of its usefulness over a long journey.
For long water crossings
A dedicated swimming mount may be the more practical choice even when it does not lead a land or flight ranking. Palpikt says water mounts do not consume stamina while swimming, while noting that details can change between patches. See Palpikt’s mount guide.
Rank #2
Finding Jetragon and other fast flyers
A flying-mount guide identifies Jetragon as a level-70 field boss. It describes Shaolong as the fastest current wild-catch flyer in its ranking, catchable from level 76 in the World Tree region. These are guide-reported progression details, not a guarantee that every requirement is unchanged in the current game build; check the relevant in-game information before planning around exact levels. See the flying-mount guide.
How to choose for your route
- Want the highest unmodified listed sprint? Choose Jetragon: its cited value is 3300.
- Building around party bonuses? Eidrolon and Eidrolon Ignis have a reported 3410 ceiling with four matching party Pals and four-star condensation.
- Mostly traveling over land? Hartalis leads the cited ground category at 1900.
- Crossing large bodies of water? Compare swim-dash values and stamina behavior rather than treating land sprint as a water-speed ranking.
- Need a mount you can obtain earlier? The cited guide reports Shaolong as a wild-catch flyer from level 76; exact progression details may be patch-sensitive.
The numerical rankings above come from third-party references, not official developer statements. PalMods identifies its dataset as a fan project and says it is not affiliated with Pocketpair; the extracted values and guide details may not reflect later patches.
