What Do You Need for 100% Completion in Grounded?

Grounded’s Report Card checklist covers nine categories, including Creature Cards, bosses, and Max Brainpower. Gold cards are not required.

For 100% on Grounded’s Game Report Card, complete its listed categories: BURG.L Science Shop unlocks, Creature Cards, Data Items, Landmarks, Milk Molars, MIX.Rs, SCA.B Flavor Schemes, four named boss fights, and Max Brainpower. Gold Creature Cards are not required, according to Obsidian’s April 16, 2024 Fully Yoked 1.4 patch notes.

Game Report Card checklist

Work through the Report Card categories below. The checklist categories and exceptions are drawn from the Game Report Card checklist; some details are not independently confirmed in the official patch notes.

  • BURG.L Science Shop: Buy the required Science Shop unlocks. The checklist extract says monthly exclusive unlocks are not required, and dimensional anomaly unlocks are not required outside New Game+. This category is not the same as completing every tracked BURG.L quest.
  • Creature Cards: Collect the required cards by peeping creatures. Baby ant cards and gold cards are not required, and the checklist extract excludes dimensional anomalies from this category. Obsidian separately confirms that gold cards do not count toward Report Card 100%.
  • Data Items: Collect the required data entries. Obsidian said a 1.4 fix makes collected audio logs appear in the Data tab when they had previously failed to show there. If an audio log seems absent, check the tab after updating before assuming you still need to collect it.
  • Landmarks: Discover the required landmarks. The available checklist information names this category but does not provide a reliable, current location-by-location list.
  • Milk Molars: Collect those required for your playthrough. New Game+ adds another set in randomized locations, so distinguish the mode before following collectible routes.
  • MIX.Rs: Complete the required MIX.R challenges. An achievement listing describes an achievement for all eight MIX.Rs, but the Report Card checklist extract does not establish its full count; use the Report Card itself rather than assuming the achievement count is the category count.
  • SCA.B Flavor Schemes: Collect the required schemes. The available checklist information does not specify their locations.
  • Bosses: Defeat Director Schmector, the Mantis, the Hedge Broodmother, and the Infected Broodmother.
  • Brainpower: Reach Max Brainpower.

What 100% does—and does not—mean

Report Card completion is not every achievement

Completing every tracked BURG.L quest appears as a separate achievement in the achievement listing; the evidence available does not establish it as a Report Card category. Those quests can still help you earn Raw Science for Science Shop unlocks, so do not treat the distinction as a reason to ignore them.

Gold cards are optional for the Report Card

Obsidian’s 1.4 notes state, “Gold cards are not required for 100% on the Report Card.” That does not remove Creature Cards from the checklist: collect the required cards, but do not pursue every gold variant solely to reach Report Card 100%.

Ordinary yard versus New Game+

New Game+ is a separate remixed mode, not a requirement established for the ordinary base-game Report Card. Obsidian’s 1.4 notes say access requires defeating the Broodmother, Mantis, and Wasp Queen, then completing the Javamatic fight. Remixed yards add ASL content, a Yoking Station, and Milk Molars in randomized locations. Keep those NG+ collectibles and unlocks separate from ordinary-yard completion advice.

If a completed item does not register

After the 1.4 update, collected audio logs that previously failed to appear in the Data tab should show correctly, according to Obsidian’s patch notes. Check the Data tab after updating if the Report Card seems to be missing a log; the fix addresses visibility, not a general guarantee that every completion issue is resolved.
