If you think someone else has access to your Supercell ID, secure the email account linked to it and contact Supercell through the affected game’s Settings > Help and Support. If you enabled Account Protection, have your SMS verification option or Recovery Codes ready; otherwise, prepare details that can help Support verify you own the account. Recovery depends on ownership verification, so Supercell does not promise a fixed response time or outcome.
What to do first if your Supercell ID may be compromised
- Secure the linked email inbox. Supercell ID sign-in codes go to the email address associated with the ID, so change that email account’s password if you suspect it is exposed and enable its two-factor authentication if available. Supercell says the ID is only as secure as its linked email. Supercell’s account-safety guidance explains the connection.
- Do not give a login code to an unexpected contact. Supercell warns that scammers may impersonate Support. It says it does not unexpectedly contact players to ask for Supercell ID login codes. Share a code only within a Support conversation you started through the game’s Help and Support.
- Contact Support from the affected game. Open the game, tap Settings > Help and Support, then use the message or contact control. Explain what happened and when. The lost-account instructions and Support contact guidance describe the official route.
- If you still control the linked inbox, try signing in in-game. Open the Supercell ID menu and sign in using a verification code sent to that email. Supercell says access to the linked inbox can let you log in and regain progress.
- Avoid third-party recovery offers. Do not pay someone who claims they can recover the account, or give personal information or login codes to free-item or gem offers. Supercell warns that such offers can be used to steal accounts; third-party sellers may also log in to deliver items.
How the recovery route depends on Account Protection
Use the same in-game Support channel whichever situation applies. Account Protection changes the verification options you may have; it does not remove the need to establish ownership.

Account Protection may not be available to every account. Supercell says availability is limited for some young-player accounts, accounts with unusual activity, and certain countries, and that availability may change. Check the current in-game settings rather than assuming the feature is available.
What information can help Support verify ownership?
Gather information you can provide accurately. Supercell’s lost-account guidance lists details that may help Support identify and verify the account:

- Player ID or tag
- Account name and level
- Current clan, club, neighborhood, or task force, depending on the game
- Purchase transaction IDs, if you made purchases
A Player Tag can help Support find the account, but it is not proof of ownership by itself. If you are locked out, ask an in-game friend for the tag, check a friends list from another account, or look in a shared in-game group. Supercell explains this in its Player Tag guidance.
Protect Recovery Codes and verification messages
If you have Account Protection, store your Recovery Codes somewhere private and secure. Generating replacement codes invalidates the old ones. Supercell says not to share codes except with Support as part of the recovery process. Never send them to someone who contacts you unexpectedly, even if that person claims to be a Supercell representative.

Supercell ID uses email verification codes rather than a conventional password, which makes control of the linked inbox especially important. For that reason, email-account security and caution with verification messages are central to protecting the ID.

Supercell says Support can help after verifying that you own the account. Its guidance does not state a fixed turnaround time or guarantee recovery in a particular case. Provide the requested information through the official in-game conversation and respond accurately to follow-up questions. Do not open a separate recovery attempt with an unofficial service while waiting.
