Ultimate Team early access for EA SPORTS FC 27 began on September 18, 2026, for buyers of the Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition. The full game launched worldwide on September 25, 2026. Both dates had already passed as of October 8, 2026.
“UT EA” usually means Ultimate Team early access in the full game. If you meant the Ultimate Team Web App or Companion App, those follow a separate schedule, covered below.
Early access and launch dates
EA staggered access by edition and membership. The table below lists each access route with its start date, as stated in EA’s FC 27 launch announcement and its official edition FAQ.
| Access route | Who gets it | Start date |
|---|---|---|
| Ultimate Edition early access | Ultimate Edition buyers | September 18, 2026 (up to seven days before launch) |
| Ultimate Plus Edition early access | Ultimate Plus Edition buyers | September 18, 2026 (up to seven days before launch) |
| EA Play 10-hour trial | EA Play members | September 18, 2026 |
| Day-one access to EA Play Pro Edition, which includes Ultimate Edition benefits | EA Play Pro members | Day one of early access (September 18, 2026) |
| Standard Edition, full game | Standard Edition buyers | September 25, 2026 (worldwide launch) |
Standard Edition does not receive the early window. Its first access is the global launch on September 25, 2026.

Which editions and platforms are eligible
Platform availability depends on the edition, not only on the game. EA’s current support FAQ lists the following.
| Edition | Platforms listed by EA | Limits stated by EA |
|---|---|---|
| Ultimate Edition | EA App, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Games Store | Includes early access from September 18, 2026 |
| Standard Edition | EA App, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Games Store | Full game from the September 25, 2026 launch; no early window |
| Ultimate Plus Edition | Not offered on Nintendo platforms or Epic Games Store | Described by EA as limited to an early-bird period from July 23 to August 31, 2026 |
At the game level, EA’s FC 27 announcement names PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and the press coverage of the announcement also lists Nintendo Switch 2. If you play on a Nintendo device, check your edition before assuming early access applies to you: the Ultimate Plus Edition is excluded there.

Web App and Companion App dates are separate
People searching “when does the UT Web App come out” are often asking about a different product. EA’s guide to the Ultimate Team Web App and Companion App gives dates for FC 26, not FC 27:
- FC 26 Web App: live September 17, 2025
- FC 26 Companion App: available September 18, 2025
These are last year’s app dates. The guide does not establish a launch date for the FC 27 Web App or Companion App, so do not treat the FC 26 dates as the FC 27 schedule. Check EA’s FC 27 pages for app availability.
