That is a ranking within one weapon class—not a published measurement showing it is the longest sword of every type or has the farthest attack reach.
Which sword is considered the longest?
Eldenpedia names the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword as the longest Colossal Sword. It is a weapon from Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. The Greatsword—despite its name—is also a Colossal Sword, and Eldenpedia describes it as the second-longest in that class.
What does “longest” mean here?
The ranking is a relative comparison within the Colossal Sword class. Eldenpedia’s Colossal Swords comparison table lists combat information such as weight, attack power and attribute requirements, but it does not provide physical model-length measurements.
That distinction matters because “longest” could mean the visible weapon’s tip-to-pommel size, its place in a class ranking, or how far a particular attack can hit. The cited pages establish the class ranking; they do not document a consistent measurement of every sword model or identify a weapon with the greatest attack reach across the game.

Where to find the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword

What its description and skill tell you
The item description presents the sword as a pointed weapon made from excavated ancient meteoric ore. Its skill, White Light Charge, propels the wielder forward. Those details describe its lore and moveset, not its physical length or a measured range advantage.

How definitive is the ranking?
This answer reflects Eldenpedia’s cited ranking, a community reference, rather than an official FromSoftware measurement. The cited pages provide no shared method or units for comparing model lengths, and they do not establish an all-class attack-reach winner. The ranking is therefore best stated precisely: Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is the longest Colossal Sword according to Eldenpedia.
The cited pages do not establish whether later 2026 game content changes that ranking, so it should not be treated as a verified comparison of every subsequent addition.
