To finish The Many Flowers of Flabébé side mission in Pokémon Legends: Z-A on Nintendo Switch, you need to find red, blue, yellow, orange, and white Flabébé and show all five to the hairdresser. Red is most consistently reported in Wild Zone 3, orange on Bleu Street, and yellow on Vert Street or near the bridge before Wild Zone 6. Blue is reported on rooftops in Vert Sector. White is the one color the guides disagree on: Vert Sector 3 in one guide, the Stone Emporium roof in another. Treat every location below as a reported spot from player-facing guides, not official spawn data.

Where each color is reported

The table lists each color with the places guides name for it. Where a guide offers a secondary suggestion, it is marked as such.

Color Reported locations How much to rely on it
Red Wild Zone 3, including its center. One guide also suggests rooftops near Wild Zone 1. Wild Zone 3 is named by both VGC and Nintendo Life, so it is the strongest starting point.
Blue Rooftops in Vert Sector. Nintendo Life also names rooftops near Bleu Sector 7, Académie Étoile, and Magenta Plaza. The Vert Sector rooftops are the main lead. The other rooftops are alternatives, not guaranteed spawns.
Yellow Grass on Vert Street; the bridge before Wild Zone 6, near red and yellow tulips; a rooftop west of Wild Zone 6 (Nintendo Life). Vert Street and the Wild Zone 6 bridge are both named in more than one guide.
Orange Bleu Street, including shrubs or flower beds. Nintendo Life also names a rooftop west of Wild Zone 6. Bleu Street is the most consistently named orange location.
White Vert Sector 3, near the Florges fountain or statue. Thonky instead names the Stone Emporium roof, reachable after Side Mission 061. The guides disagree. Check both spots (see the next section).

Red: Wild Zone 3

Wild Zone 3 is the first place to check. Both VGC and Nintendo Life list its center. If you have cleared the area and see no red, the rooftops near Wild Zone 1 are the only other reported option.

Blue: Vert Sector rooftops

Blue Flabébé are reported on rooftops in Vert Sector. Nintendo Life adds rooftops near Bleu Sector 7, Académie Étoile, and Magenta Plaza. Because these are listed as alternatives, you may need to search several rooftops before one produces a blue Flabébé.

Yellow: Vert Street or the bridge before Wild Zone 6

Yellow is reported in two easy-to-reach areas. The first is the grass on Vert Street. The second is the bridge before Wild Zone 6, where red and yellow tulips grow near each other. Nintendo Life also names a rooftop west of Wild Zone 6 for yellow and orange.

Orange: Bleu Street

Bleu Street is the most consistently reported orange location. Look at the shrubs and flower beds there. The rooftop west of Wild Zone 6 is a secondary option listed only by Nintendo Life.

White Flabébé: two reported locations

White is the color most likely to send you to the wrong spot, because the guides name different places:

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Standard - Nintendo Switch [Digital Code]
  • Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free.
  • As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.
  • Vert Sector 3: Look near the Florges fountain or statue. This is the location named in the VGC and Nintendo Life guides.
  • Stone Emporium roof: Thonky lists this location, which becomes accessible after Side Mission 061.

Check Vert Sector 3 first, since it is reachable earlier in most routes. If it produces nothing, try the Stone Emporium roof once Side Mission 061 is complete. The guides do not explain why they differ, so neither location can be called definitively correct.

A possible one-stop option: the Jaune Sector rooftop

Nintendo Life reports a fountain on the rooftops above the Justice Dojo in Jaune Sector where all five colors may spawn. This would let you collect every color in one place, instead of crossing the city. The same guide warns that reaching this rooftop may require the holovator and the roto-glide, which are unlocked through story progress. If you have not reached those abilities yet, use the individual locations above.

Starting the quest and what you get

According to Nintendo Life (guide by Alana Hagues, published October 27, 2025), the request becomes available after Main Mission 7 begins, following the friendly battle with Naveen outside Hotel Z. The hairdresser stands outside Coiffure Clips in the Bleu District, just past the Bleu Pokémon Center. Hagues wrote: “You need to show the aspiring hairdresser all five colours of Flabébé.”

How much these locations can be trusted

All the guides agree on the five-color requirement, and several locations are named by more than one source. However, they are secondary, player-written guides, and none of them explains how it tested the spawns. No official Nintendo or Game Freak documentation of Flabébé spawn locations was found. The guides were also published in late 2025, so a later game update could move a spawn. Treat each location as a strong lead rather than a guarantee, and if one does not work, move on to the next reported spot.

If a color still will not appear, cycle through the other areas listed for it. The Jaune Sector rooftop is worth checking once you can reach it, since it is the only reported spot that may cover several colors at once.
