Disgaea 7 Complete is the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless. It bundles the base game with all previously released DLC and adds a post-story chapter, a new playable character, Hell Mode for every character, a higher stat ceiling, and a new post-game boss. NIS America lists its Western release for October 10, 2025.
What the Complete edition adds
NIS America’s own descriptions place the new material in five areas. Each one has a different unlock condition, so it helps to check them separately.
A post-story chapter and Asagi
After the main story, Fuji and his companions pursue souls trapped in the Infernal Treasures. The chapter takes them beyond the world of the base game. Clearing the Nethertime Support Force story adds Asagi to your party. NIS America’s feature page puts it this way: “Clear the Nethertime Support Force story and a new character, Asagi, will be added to your party.”
The previously released DLC and bonus content
The publisher’s Complete edition announcement states: “In addition to the base game and all previously-released DLC, this edition comes packed with brand new features and content.” The feature page names bonus stories, Pleinair, costumes, and a special weapons set among the included content. If you already own individual DLC packs, the announcement does not describe any upgrade or credit path, so check the store listing for that before buying.

Hell Mode for all characters
A Dark Assembly bill allows any character to use Hell Mode. The unlock condition is to clear the main game and then pass the trial “Freely Use Infernal Treasures!”
Higher stat limits
The Complete edition raises the maximum stat to 999,999,999. This is a game-side cap that NIS America promotes on its Complete edition page, not a research figure. The new maximum-stat system unlocks after you clear Carnage Baal’s Manifestation and pass “Take Me Beyond the Limits!”

Rakshasa Baal
Rakshasa Baal is a new post-game boss presented as the next challenge after Carnage Baal. To unlock the fight, clear Carnage Baal’s Manifestation and pass “Fight a Next-Level Super Overlord!”

How it differs from the original Disgaea 7
NIS America lists the original Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless for October 3, 2023. The two are not interchangeable: the Complete edition is the Switch 2 package that combines the original game with the earlier DLC and new content. Do not assume a similarly named bundle for the original game is the same release.

The Ewwdo Edition collector package
NIS America’s store lists an Ewwdo Edition of the Switch 2 game as a Game-Key Card collector package. An earlier store blog described it as exclusive to NIS America’s online store. Those pages confirm the package was offered. They do not confirm that it is in stock now, so check the store listing before recommending or buying it.

If you are deciding between the original game and the Complete edition, the practical question is whether you want the post-story chapter, Asagi, Hell Mode, and the post-game boss. If you do, the Complete edition is the version that includes them.
