There is no exact release date for the next The Forge update established by the sources available as of October 8, 2026. A recent post in the game’s subreddit gives a community estimate of “approximately within the next 1-14 days,” but explicitly says the timing is subject to change. The Hidden Maze update named in the original query is historical, not the upcoming update.
What is the current estimate for the next The Forge update?
The subreddit post “[NEW] Upcoming Update Sneaks!” by u/ToastReal72 says the update will release “approximately within the next 1-14 days. (Subject To Change).” That is a community estimate, not a confirmed developer schedule. The post does not give a calendar date, release time, or timezone, and its relative window should not be converted into a countdown without a verified posting time and developer confirmation.
The post describes upcoming features, races, and a mailbox rework. It also warns that numbers, values, and details may change, so treat those teasers as tentative rather than final patch notes.
Is the Hidden Maze update still upcoming?
No. The community-maintained The Forge update log dates Hidden Maze to January 11, 2026. Its historical entry describes the Frostspire Expanse and ferry to Iceberg Island, a maze that resets daily, a randomly located merchant, a secret location connected to the Heavenly Pickaxe and quests, Pirate Skeleton and Cthulhu enemies, Fungi’s Potion, and the MAZE code. Because this is a community wiki, treat those details as historical community documentation rather than official patch notes.

A Beebom article published March 19, 2026 forecast Hidden Maze for March 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM Pacific. That forecast is expired and does not establish the schedule for an October 2026 update.
Are raids, molds, runes, and tiers confirmed for the next update?
No. An older community leak discussion mentioned raids, molds, new runes, and tiers, but it does not establish that these features are confirmed or part of the next release. Keep those claims separate from the newer post’s feature, race, and mailbox-rework teasers.

How to check for a confirmed release date
Look for a dated announcement from the game’s developers rather than relying on a relative estimate or reposted leak. The subreddit’s own Q&A discussion includes a moderator who says they are not a developer and corrects an earlier mistake, underscoring why community commentary should not be mistaken for an official schedule. The sources available here do not establish an official exact date, timezone, or whether the 1–14 day estimate remains valid.
