Where do I redeem my Overwatch 2 code?
Blizzard’s documented steps for an in-game reward code are to sign in to your Battle.net account, choose Account > Redeem Code, enter the code, and submit it. Blizzard says a success message confirms the item has been applied to the account. See the Blizzard Gear Store redemption instructions; the promotion on that page ended August 20, 2026, but its steps explain the Battle.net reward-code process.

- Sign in to the Battle.net account that should receive the reward.
- Open Account, then select Redeem Code.
- Enter the code and submit it.
- Check for the confirmation that the item was applied to your account.
First check who issued the code
Not every code associated with Overwatch 2 is a Blizzard reward code. A code from a console storefront or subscription offer may need to be redeemed through that issuer’s own instructions. Check the message, card, or offer page that provided the code and follow its redemption steps rather than assuming it belongs in Battle.net.
- Blizzard or Battle.net reward code: Use Account > Redeem Code as described above.
- Console-store code: Follow the console store’s redemption instructions.
- Subscription benefit: Follow the subscription offer’s claim steps and confirm its account and tier requirements.
Console players: check account linking separately
Redeeming a code and linking a console account are different actions. If a reward or benefit is meant for your console play, confirm that the intended Xbox, PlayStation Network, or Nintendo account is linked to the Battle.net account you want to receive it. Blizzard documents linking through Account Settings > Connections, as well as an in-game linking flow that can use an alphanumeric code or QR code. Game Pass benefits have offer-specific conditions
Game Pass benefits are not a universal code-entry route. Blizzard’s support guidance for missing Overwatch 2 Game Pass grants or benefits ties eligibility to an actively linked Xbox and Battle.net account and says the subscription tier affects where benefits can be redeemed. If a Game Pass benefit does not appear, that guidance also recommends restarting the game or app. Follow the current terms for your specific subscription offer.

- Recheck the characters and make sure you entered the code without confusing similar-looking characters.
- Review the offer’s terms, eligible accounts or platforms, and redemption window. Code expiry dates vary by offer; an expired date from an older campaign does not establish the deadline for your code.
- If it is a Blizzard-issued code and the problem continues, contact Battle.net Support, as Blizzard directs users with code problems to support.
Promotions can have limited eligibility and fixed dates. For example, a 2022 Overwatch Twitch campaign had its own code-expiration terms; those terms applied to that campaign, not to other codes. See Blizzard’s Overwatch x Twitch: Support a Streamer announcement.
