Start at the Pet Pavilion in Wizard City: you can buy pet snacks from snack shops or make them from recipes, then feed one after a pet training game. There is no single snack the official guide identifies as best for every pet; your pet’s reaction is the useful clue.
Where to buy and feed pet snacks
The Pet Pavilion is in Wizard City, reached through a tunnel from the Commons near Prospector Zeke. According to the Wizard101 pet guide, entering the Pavilion requires level 7 and completion of the assignment to defeat Rattlebones in Unicorn Way. Train your pet in one of the Pavilion’s minigames. At the end of a game, you can feed it a snack. Wizard101 lists snack shops and snack recipes as ways to get them; the guide does not provide a universal shop location or a complete recipe list.
How to choose the best snack for your pet
Use the response shown when your pet eats the snack, rather than assuming one snack is best for every pet. Wizard101 recommends paying attention to the pet’s reaction and how much its statistics increase. The guide lists these messages:

Players report that Couch Potatoes and Evil Magma Peas can provide Mega Snacks at Elder harvest. This is community guidance, not an official guarantee of current drops. Gardening is a longer-term option because it depends on having seeds and waiting for them to grow; check the plants’ current in-game harvest behavior before relying on them.

Limited-time event rewards
KingsIsle’s July 28, 2026 Pet Promenade announcement listed “Snacks from the Snack Pack” among possible rewards. That event ended Monday, August 3, 2026, so it is a dated example, not evidence that the reward or event is currently available.
