How to check the weekly activity information
- Connect to the internet so the game can show the latest weekly activity set.
- Open the ECHO menu and select the Map tab to view the Weekly Big Encore Boss and Weekly Wildcard Mission, if you have completed the main campaign.
- For Maurice’s machine, consult the visual hint in the October 8 official post and verify the area in-game. The announcement does not establish that the machine itself appears as a persistent map marker.
Why your machine may not match a friend’s
The machine’s location is the same for everyone during a weekly cycle, but its available items differ between players. Gearbox states in its official Borderlands 4 announcement hub that players can ask others whether their machine has a desired item. Visiting the same location therefore does not guarantee identical stock.

Unlocking access to Maurice’s machine
PC Gamer’s July 24, 2026 guide reports that access requires completing the main campaign and the introductory Ultimate Vault Hunter quest, Maurice’s Bounty. Treat this as a guide-reported requirement; the October 8 weekly announcement does not independently confirm those unlock conditions. If you have not completed those steps, that reported requirement may explain why the machine is unavailable to you.
If you reach the area but do not see the machine
- Make sure the game is online and has loaded the current weekly activity set.
- Check that you are following the October 8–15 image hint, not a location pin or route from a previous week.
- Confirm whether you have completed the campaign and Maurice’s Bounty, as reported by PC Gamer.
- Ask a friend to compare their machine’s stock only after you reach the current location; different inventory is expected, but the location is shared.
The official October 8 announcement confirms the new weekly cycle but does not state a reset hour. It also does not provide enough searchable detail to name this week’s map location without interpreting the image or checking in-game.
