The practical answer is a starting point for each map, matched to what you want to extract (weapons and blueprints, crafting materials, or general high-value items) and to how much fighting and ARC traffic you will accept. The locations below are the ones current community guides recommend, with the trade-offs they carry. They are reported recommendations, not guaranteed spawns or measured payouts.
Why no single map wins
Guides rank the maps differently. One guide favors Buried City overall and Spaceport’s Control Tower A6 for the best risk-reward balance. An interactive map guide calls Dam Battlegrounds the best for loot. Neither ranking is backed by comparable measured loot yields, and the claims behind them have not been independently verified. Some guides describe their own route testing; those accounts are informed opinion, not confirmed results. Community cache counts, such as those in ArcMaps’ cache guide, are inventory claims maintained by the community rather than validated loot data.
Choose a map by goal and risk, not by its reputation in any one ranking.
Best loot spots by map
The official Map Conditions page lists seven maps: Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, Pendola Pass, Riven Tides, Spaceport, Stella Montis, and The Blue Gate.

Buried City
- Space Travel Building into Galleria: a route guides rate as high-value. Urban verticality and subway routes shape both how you reach it and how you leave.
- Town Hall: a target a separate guide reports. It depends on a key, so read the key section below before you plan around it.
Dam Battlegrounds
- Control Tower: guides point to concentrated containers here. This is the Dam Battlegrounds tower, not Spaceport’s Control Tower A6.
- Research and Administration: a route guides describe as less contested.
- Alcantara Power Plant and the central bridge region: the area another map guide highlights.
Spaceport
- Control Tower A6: described as high-value and highly contested. Use it for a deliberate risk-reward run, and plan on a fight.
- Vehicle Maintenance: the lower-profile option guides suggest if you want less traffic.
- Launch Tower Loot: an event condition rather than a permanent spot.
The Blue Gate
- Warehouse Complex: a recommended target in guides.
- Underground security lockers: a separate map guide emphasizes underground areas for these. Security Lockers were adjusted in the November 13, 2025 patch notes, so older locker claims may no longer hold.
Guides advise choosing between these based on proximity and extraction rather than crossing the map for a single point.
Stella Montis
- Assembly Workshops: the spot community guides name for blueprint farming.
- Research-facility interiors: a separate guide describes these as useful for containers and puzzle-related loot.
Riven Tides
Hydroponic Dome Complex is the location community guides recommend for loot on Riven Tides. Check the patch notes in the section below before relying on any route written earlier.
Pendola Pass
Pendola Pass is on the official Map Conditions roster, but the guides available at the time of writing do not name a best-loot spot that can be verified. Use the route criteria below and check current guides before committing to a location.
Plan a loot route
Start from your actual spawn and head for the nearest valuable cluster, not automatically for the most famous point of interest. Before you enter a contested site, name at least one alternate route and one extraction option. Then compare routes on five factors:

- Loot objective: weapons and blueprints, crafting materials, healing supplies, quest items, or general value. Map picks differ by category, so start from what you need.
- Exposure: likely player traffic, ARC presence, sightlines, and the noise of opening or breaching containers.
- Travel and extraction: distance from spawn, route length, interior navigation and elevation, and available exits.
- Conditions: events and map conditions can change which spots make sense. Check the official schedule for your region and time.
- Squad size: guides suggest quieter peripheral routes for a safer solo route and contested targets for teams. These are strategic opinions, not measured win-rate findings.
Keys and locked rooms
A community key guide from ARC Raiders AI, updated August 2, 2026, says keys are single-use and that they open locked doors across six maps. Its key counts and room details are community-maintained and can change, so treat them as a starting point rather than a complete list. The guide is available at ARC Raiders AI: Key Locations.
- Detour only when the key, the item category you expect, your current position, and your exit route all line up.
- Treat a locked room as an opportunity cost. Time spent on a detour is time not spent on the nearest valuable cluster.
Map conditions and patches
- The official Map Conditions page shows rotating conditions and events and the current map roster, including Pendola Pass. Schedules are volatile and may vary by region, so check the listing for yours.
- Embark’s Patch Notes 1.27.0, dated May 5, 2026, fixed issues on Riven Tides and Stella Montis. Route claims for those maps that predate it may no longer hold.
- The November 13, 2025 patch notes adjusted map fixes and loot-related items, including Security Lockers.
Guide dates vary. Playnews’ All POIs and Best Loot Spots 2026 guide is dated July 19, 2026, and Sabertooth Games’ loot route walkthrough is dated September 2026. Check the date of any guide before trusting its route, and use the official ARC Raiders site for current game information.
