The Critical Hit Tour outfits are PvP glamour sets. You buy them from the Crystal Quartermaster at Wolves’ Den Pier with Trophy Crystals, the PvP currency earned through Series rewards. Players often call these “skins,” but in Final Fantasy XIV the item is a glamour outfit: it changes how your character looks and gives no combat bonus, and the name “Critical Hit” refers to the theme rather than a stat.
What the Critical Hit Tour outfits are
The Critical Hit Tour set comes in six variants: A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, C-1, and C-2. A community wiki groups them under PvP glamour and lists the Crystal Quartermaster as the seller. Each variant is sold as its own outfit grouping, so check the individual piece you want rather than assuming a set price covers every item in the set.
The name does not describe a combat benefit. The official PvP Guide lists effects that do not apply in PvP duties, and critical hits are on that list under the sentence “The following are unavailable in PvP duties:”. Wearing a Critical Hit Tour outfit will not raise your critical hit rate in PvP.
Where to buy them
- Travel to Wolves’ Den Pier, the PvP exchange location for Trophy Crystals and Wolf Marks, as described in the official PvP Guide.
- Find the Crystal Quartermaster. The community wiki places the NPC at X:4.4, Y:6.1 on the pier. Coordinates come from the wiki, not an official map, so use them as a guide and confirm the NPC on arrival.
- Open the exchange list the NPC offers and locate the Critical Hit Tour variant and piece you want.
- Read the item tooltip and price in game before you commit. Confirm that your Trophy Crystal balance covers the price.
- Complete the exchange. The outfit is then available in your glamour collection and can be applied like any other glamour item.
The per-outfit listings are taken from the Final Fantasy XIV Online Wiki (Consolegameswiki) entry for PvP glamour gear. The wiki does not state a publication date for those listings, and the official guide does not publish a per-item price list, so treat the figures below as the wiki’s values rather than confirmed patch data.

How to earn Trophy Crystals
Trophy Crystals are a PvP Series reward. Taking part in PvP earns Series EXP, which advances your Series reward track, and Series rewards include Trophy Crystals. The official PvP Guide describes the Series Malmstone system and the Trophy Crystal exchange in the same section.

Claiming rewards from a previous Series
Official guidance states that rewards from a previous Series can still be claimed for a limited time. In the Lodestone notice announcing the close of Series 11 and the start of Series 12, Series 11 rewards remained claimable until Series 12 ended. Because the claim window is time-limited and changes with each Series, check the in-game screen rather than relying on an older date.
- Open the Character menu.
- Select PvP Profile.
- Select Series Malmstones.
- Open the Previous Series tab and claim any outstanding rewards before the window closes.

- Confirm the current listing and price at the Crystal Quartermaster, because shop contents can change after patches.
- Check your Trophy Crystal balance against the individual piece price, not only the set total.
- If you have unclaimed rewards from a previous Series, open the Previous Series tab first so you do not lose them when the window closes.
If you only want the look, the outfit is cosmetic and carries no PvP advantage. Choose the variant that suits your character’s style.
