Can you download Switch games for Ryujinx from Nintendo?
No. Nintendo’s Intellectual Property & Piracy FAQ identifies Nintendo eShop and Nintendo’s website as official channels for downloading genuine console games. That does not make those games authorized for use on a PC emulator: Nintendo says it does not currently offer or authorize any product that allows its game files to be played or downloaded on personal computers.

In short, an official Nintendo game download is for a Nintendo console, not a Ryujinx game-file download. Nintendo’s guidance does not identify a PC or Ryujinx download channel.
What about ROM websites and file hosts?
Nintendo UK says games distributed through peer-to-peer networks or third-party file-host links are unauthorized copies, often called ROMs, and that uploading and downloading pirate copies is illegal. See its Online Piracy guidance.

For that reason, this article cannot recommend ROM sites, torrents, or third-party file hosts as legitimate sources. A copy found online is not made official by owning the corresponding game.
Does owning a Switch game make a Ryujinx download lawful?
Not necessarily. Nintendo’s cited guidance does not establish whether a particular personal backup or copy is lawful under the law where you live. Laws vary by jurisdiction, so do not treat game ownership alone as blanket permission to download or use a PC copy.

Where to get a legitimate Switch game
For a game to play on Nintendo hardware, use the Nintendo eShop or Nintendo’s official website, the distribution channels Nintendo identifies for console games. A physical Switch game card may also be a legitimate console purchase, but it is not a download source for Ryujinx game files.
