The original Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundle is a console package: a Switch 2 system plus a full download of the Switch 2 Edition game. Nintendo launched it on October 16, 2025 with a suggested US retail price of $499.99 and said supply would be limited. As of October 2026 it is still sold through retailers, but stock is regional and unpredictable, and the only current UK stock report we found describes official bundle packaging as scarce. The next big bundle is a different product: a physical game bundle, Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension, releasing October 29, 2026. It does not include a console.
Two bundles, two different purchases
Most confusion around this title comes from treating the console bundle and the upcoming game bundle as the same thing. They are not, so check which one a listing actually sells before you compare prices.

What the original console bundle includes
Nintendo’s bundle listing covers the hardware and the game download. Confirm each item on the listing you are buying, because retailers sometimes sell partial kits or different colour pairings.

- AC adapter and USB-C charging cable
- HDMI cable

Pricing: what the figures do and do not tell you
The $499.99 figure is Nintendo of America’s suggested retail price from its 2025 launch announcement. It is a reference point for US pricing at launch, not a current deal, and it says nothing about prices in other countries or at individual sellers today.

For the UK, GamesRadar’s October 2026 deals roundup reports a Currys package of console and game at £429. That is a secondary report from a dated page, so open the Currys listing and confirm the live price, delivery, and collection options before you buy.
A retailer-made package is not automatically cheaper. Add up the console and game separately at the same seller and compare the totals.
Where to buy and where stock stands
Nintendo’s own sales channels are the Nintendo eShop (for the digital game), My Nintendo Store, and participating retailers. Nintendo’s official pages confirm these channels for the game editions; they do not confirm that any seller currently has the console bundle in stock.

The US product page links to a retailer finder, but it does not show live inventory. Expect to check each seller individually.
UK stock
GamesRadar’s October 2026 roundup says official bundle packaging is out of stock at most locations and points to the Currys package as the main available option. Treat this as one editorial report from one date, not a guarantee of stock across the UK.
US and other regions
We did not find a current, dated US stock report for the console bundle. Check Nintendo’s retailer finder and individual seller pages on the day you buy.

Older retailer lists
A TechRadar retailer-by-retailer guide dated October 15, 2025 listed Walmart, Best Buy, and Target in the US, and Amazon UK, Very, Currys, ShopTo, and The Game Collection in the UK. Use it only as a map of which retailers carried the bundle at launch. Its stock information is a year old and should not be taken as current.

- Confirm the exact product: console bundle, game-only, or the Mega Dimension game bundle.
- Check whether the console is included.
- Check the format: physical disc-style game or digital download.
- Confirm the seller is Nintendo, a named retailer, or a third party.
- Note the price and the date you saw it.
- Check delivery or local collection options, especially for limited-stock hardware.
- Compare the total with buying the console and game separately.
The next big Switch 2 bundle: Mega Dimension
The Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle is a physical game bundle with a release date of October 29, 2026. It is not a console bundle, so you will still need a Switch 2 system to play it.
Nintendo’s US page says the physical version includes an insert with a code for 100 Ultra Balls. Regional pricing and seller availability for this product were not established at the time of writing, so watch for those details before the release date.

If you only want the game and already own a Switch 2, the existing digital Switch 2 Edition is the route to compare against the physical bundle. If you want hardware, the console bundle is the product to watch.
Stock checks on this product should start in late October, when sellers begin listing it and the price becomes visible in each region.
