Play Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition first, then Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Xbox identifies Will of the Wisps as a sequel, making that the natural story order. You can start with the sequel, but the first game provides earlier story context.

- Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Xbox describes Will of the Wisps as a sequel to Blind Forest, so beginning with the first game lets you encounter the story in order. That is a recommendation for context, not a claim that the sequel cannot be understood on its own. Xbox’s game listing
Which Blind Forest edition should you choose?
Start with Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition. Xbox names that edition in its two-game collection alongside Will of the Wisps. The available official descriptions do not provide a feature-by-feature comparison with the original release, so there is no supported basis here for listing specific changes. Where can you get both games?
Both games have been packaged together, though formats and availability depend on platform and retailer.
