Daisy09 is a figure from Gorilla Tag community folklore, usually told as a ghost-like player who haunts servers, plays the song “Daisy Bell,” and supposedly kicks or bans people. No official Gorilla Tag or Another Axiom statement about Daisy09 surfaced in the sources reviewed for this article, and nothing in them establishes who created the legend or when it started. Some players perform Daisy09 as a trolling character using mods, and that is documented. The ghost and ban-power claims are not.
What the Daisy09 legend claims
The story circulates in player communities and wikis rather than in the game itself. Its recurring elements are:
- Ghostly presence: Daisy09 is described as a spirit that supposedly appears on servers.
- “Daisy Bell”: The character is associated with playing the 1892 song “Daisy Bell,” which gives the legend its most recognizable detail.
- Kicking and banning: Many versions say Daisy09 can remove or ban players, which is the claim that makes the legend frightening.
The Gorilla Tag Extras Wiki, a user-edited community resource, summarizes the story this way and adds that many players who claim to be Daisy pretend to be the character using mods. The same wiki page states that the creator is unknown. Treat that page as a record of community lore, not as confirmation from the developer.
Where the story comes from
The origin is the least documented part of the legend. A Reddit discussion posted on April 13, 2023 asks where Daisy09 came from. Commenters offer recollections that link an early video to a player called Pumpkin Pie, but they are uncertain, and the thread does not establish who made the legend or how it spread. Until a primary source turns up, the creator and the first appearance should be described as unknown.

Mod-based portrayals of Daisy09
Some Daisy09 content is clearly staged. A YouTube creator published a video on March 30, 2022 titled “Trolling as Daisy09 with Mods (i got banned) | Gorilla Tag,” which presents the character as a prank performed with modifications. That video shows that at least one public portrayal was mod-based trolling. It does not show that the character is real, and it does not show that Daisy09 can ban anyone on its own. A player who appears to be “Daisy09” in a video is, on the evidence available, a person using a costume-like persona and tools.
How the claims compare with the evidence
| Claim in the legend | What the sources show | Strength of evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Daisy09 is a ghost that haunts servers | Described on the Gorilla Tag Extras Wiki as community lore; no primary source confirms it | Folklore only |
| Daisy09 plays “Daisy Bell” | Repeated as part of the legend; no game-side source ties the character to the song | Folklore only |
| Daisy09 can kick or ban players | Claimed in the legend; a mod-based video titled “Trolling as Daisy09 with Mods (i got banned)” shows a person performing ban-like behavior, not an in-game power | Not established as a game mechanic |
| Daisy09 is an official character | No statement from Another Axiom or Gorilla Tag found in the sources reviewed | Not established |
| Who created the legend and when | Creator listed as unknown; an April 13, 2023 Reddit thread offers uncertain recollections involving Pumpkin Pie | Unresolved |
| Some Daisy09 appearances are fake | Mod-based trolling videos exist; community posts from 2022 call sightings a scary story or a person using mods | Supported for mod-based portrayals; the full scope is not established |
Why community members remain skeptical
Discussion threads from February 2022 and September 2022 show that players did not accept the legend at face value. Users described Daisy09 as a scary story, a person using mods, or an unverified scare video. These posts do not prove that every sighting is fake, and they do not explain how the game’s moderation works. They do show that the legend has been contested in the same communities that keep it alive.

What remains unknown
- Whether Another Axiom or Gorilla Tag has ever addressed Daisy09 directly. None was found in the sources reviewed.
- Who first created the character and where the “Daisy Bell” association began.
- How many people have used the Daisy09 name or persona, and whether any particular encounter was genuine. The sources contain no reliable counts or prevalence figures.
If you run into someone claiming to be Daisy09
- Assume the claim of supernatural or ban power is part of the performance unless the game itself shows the removal.
- If a player is harassing you or disrupting a server, use the reporting and muting options the game provides.
- Check Gorilla Tag’s official channels before repeating claims about game mechanics. Community wikis and comment threads are useful for lore but are not authoritative on how the game works.
The answer to the title question is therefore narrow: Daisy09 is a community legend, with some documented mod-based portrayals and no verified origin, official status, or proven in-game ban power.
