Ubisoft describes Odin as “Eivor’s Isu predecessor in Assassin’s Creed lore” in its article about the game’s mythic inspiration. The three-way pairing is the accepted reading of the ending’s reveal; a plot summary identifies Eivor, Sigurd, and Basim with Odin, Tyr, and Loki, respectively.
Is Eivor actually Odin?
Eivor is a human character connected to Odin, an Isu predecessor. The Norse-god figures and visions in the story present the Isu narrative through Eivor’s experience. So “Eivor is Odin” captures the identity connection, but it should not be read as saying that Eivor is simply the Norse god living an ordinary second life.
What does “reincarnated” mean in Valhalla?
Players often use “reincarnation” to describe the connections, but the available official wording calls Odin Eivor’s Isu predecessor and does not precisely define a supernatural or religious process. It is clearer to think of the plot as Isu identities and memories resurfacing in later human lives. Eivor, Sigurd, and Basim still have their own human lives and experiences; the Isu connections explain the identities and memories underlying the story’s reveals.

Are there other reincarnated characters?
The central trio is Eivor/Odin, Sigurd/Tyr, and Basim/Loki. Ubisoft’s myth-inspiration article confirms the Eivor–Odin connection, but it does not establish a complete roster of human characters associated with Isu identities. Without an authoritative source for additional pairings, it is best not to treat a longer list as settled fact.
