She is Pilar’s sibling, and the official prequel manga Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS follows the two before they join David Martinez’s crew.
Who is Rebecca?
Rebecca is one of the Night City mercenaries in the anime’s central crew. CD PROJEKT RED describes her as “Fiery and short, she always lends a helping hand — or shotgun — to the cause.” Her shotgun is part of how she backs up the group, while her blunt, lively presence makes her easy to recognize among the crew.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a standalone, 10-episode story produced by CD PROJEKT RED and animation studio TRIGGER. It follows David Martinez as he enters Night City’s edgerunner underworld.
How is Rebecca connected to David’s crew?
Rebecca is Pilar’s sibling. The main series places her alongside David and the other edgerunners; in episode 8, “Stay,” Lucy and Rebecca confront David about changes in his behavior, but he refuses to listen. That moment shows Rebecca taking an active role in the crew’s affairs, not just its firefights.

The Netflix episode summaries establish that confrontation but do not name Rebecca’s fate in the finale. They are not enough on their own to support a more specific claim about what happens to her.
Does Rebecca have a prequel manga?
Yes. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS is an official prequel focused on Rebecca and Pilar’s lives before they join David’s crew. CD PROJEKT RED announced the series as a Dark Horse Comics English-language paperback. KADOKAWA’s July 25, 2025 notice listed Japanese Volume 1 for August 28, 2025, and the English edition for February 24, 2026; those are announced dates, not confirmation of present-day stock or availability.
Who voices Rebecca?
Rebecca is voiced in Japanese by Tomoyo Kurosawa, according to KADOKAWA’s release notice. Netflix’s cast listing includes Kurosawa among the Japanese cast. The cited official sources do not establish the English-dub performer.

The manga is the most direct way to read more of Rebecca and Pilar’s story. For tabletop lore, R. Talsorian Games’ Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit preview says it includes biographies of Rebecca, David, Lucy, Maine, and other crew members written by series writer Bartosz Sztybor. It is a role-playing product, rather than another anime episode or manga.
