Red’s parents are not named in the sources reviewed. In The Angry Birds Movie continuity, a fan-maintained character page describes him as an orphan whose mother and father are unnamed. Wider game and franchise references also leave his parents unnamed; they identify Ruby as Red’s sister, not as a parent.
Who were Red’s parents in the movies?
The movie-continuity summary describes Red as an orphan who has not met his parents, and lists both parents as unnamed. It does not identify them as any other known Angry Birds characters. This is a fan-maintained summary, not a direct statement from Rovio or the filmmakers. [c001]
Concept art reportedly included parents, but that alone does not establish that they appeared as identified characters in the released films. An image or design from development is not the same as a confirmed character identity or backstory.
What about Red’s parents in the games and wider franchise?
A separate fan-maintained overview also lists Red’s parents as unnamed and identifies Ruby as his sister. A relatives list mentions a photo of Red and Ruby’s parents in the comic Ruby on Ice, but it does not name them or establish who they are beyond their relationship to the siblings. [c002] [c003]

These references do not provide enough authoritative detail to build a biography of Red’s parents or connect them to a familiar bird. Claims that a known character is Red’s mother or father should be treated as speculation unless a reliable source explicitly confirms it.
Has Rovio officially revealed their identities?
No official identification appears in the sources reviewed. Rovio’s June 2024 announcement that The Angry Birds Movie 3 was in production described continuing adventures for Red and Chuck, but did not discuss Red’s biological parents. [c006]
