Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →As of October 8, 2026, the TrueTrophies platinum leaderboard ranks KingFortunatoo first with 19,104 platinum trophies, just ahead of timpurnat?Praise the Sun? at 19,069. That is a third-party tracker ranking, not an official Sony record. A second tracker, PlatPrices, produces a very different top of the table, so the name you report depends on which board you use.
Current leaders by tracker
Two public trackers currently publish platinum rankings for PlayStation accounts. Their leaders and totals do not match, and the table below shows the figures as each site displayed them on October 8, 2026.
| Tracker | First place | Platinums (first) | Second place | Platinums (second) | Population stated | Update timing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TrueTrophies, Platinum Trophies Won | KingFortunatoo | 19,104 | timpurnat?Praise the Sun? | 19,069 | Not stated in the result captured | Built daily; the displayed result was last updated 14 hours before capture |
| PlatPrices, Platinum metric | Infernofeuer1 | 4,877 | Kasqr– | 4,795 | 62 public profiles worldwide | Not stated |
Both figures are live tracker counts captured on October 8, 2026. Neither is an official statistic, and neither tracker’s ranking should be presented as a certified world record.
Why the two boards disagree
The gap between the two leaderboards is far too large to be explained by minor differences in timing. TrueTrophies lists a first-place count of 19,104, while PlatPrices lists 4,877 for its top profile and says it tracks only 62 public profiles. The two sites are not measuring the same player population or the same scope. The sources do not explain the precise reason, so any single explanation would be guesswork. What can be said with confidence is that each board reflects only the profiles and metric its own operator chooses to show.

What “most platinum trophies” actually measures
A leaderboard answers the question only within its own rules. Before you accept a ranking, check three things:
- Metric. A platinum count is not the same as total trophies or trophy points. PlatPrices offers separate leaderboard metrics, so a leader in one metric is not automatically the leader in another.
- Population and visibility. A tracker can only rank profiles it can observe. Sony says players control who sees their trophy list through privacy settings, so a profile that hides its trophies cannot appear on a public board. The Sony guidance is linked in the section below.
- Update timing. A daily-built board can differ from a board that refreshes less often. Always record the capture date with the figure.
Neither tracker’s public result confirms that every listed account is verified as belonging to the person named, so treat each name as the tracker’s listing rather than an identity check.

What Sony says about platinum trophies
Sony’s own help page explains how trophies work but does not publish an overall platinum leaderboard or name a record holder. Two statements from that page are useful context for reading any ranking:
- “The grades available, starting from most difficult are Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.”
- “The number and grades of trophies, and the conditions for earning them, vary from game to game.”
Because the number of trophies and the requirements differ by title, a platinum count reflects which games an account has finished, not a simple measure of skill. The search result for the Sony page carried no publication date, so the statements should be read as current official wording rather than dated guidance. The page is available at PlayStation Support: How to earn trophies on PlayStation consoles.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to check the standings yourself
- Open the TrueTrophies Platinum Trophies Won leaderboard and confirm that the board you are reading is the platinum metric.
- Note the first-place name, the count, and the update note shown on the page.
- Open the PlatPrices platinum leaderboard and note its stated profile count, which was 62 public profiles at capture.
- When you cite a leader, name the tracker, the metric, and the capture date together, for example: “According to TrueTrophies on October 8, 2026, KingFortunatoo leads with 19,104 platinum trophies.”
- If a reader asks for the overall “most platinum trophies” holder, explain that no official Sony leaderboard was found and that the answer depends on the tracker.
Rankings change as players earn trophies, so a figure captured on one day can be out of date within a short time.
