If your FIFA Points are missing, first check whether the purchase completed in the transaction history of the store where you bought them. Restart EA SPORTS FC and check your balance again. EA now calls the currency EA SPORTS FC Points; its current missing-points guidance says to contact support if the balance still has not appeared after 24 hours.
Check these things in order
- Confirm the purchase. Open the transaction history for the platform or store where you bought the Points—such as PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Switch, Steam, or Epic—and make sure the transaction completed. A payment attempt alone does not confirm a completed purchase.
- Restart the game. Close EA SPORTS FC, start it again, and check the Points balance.
- Check for a service issue. Look at EA SPORTS FC Direct Communication and the server-status page for your platform. If either reports a relevant issue, check your balance again once service is restored.
- Allow up to 24 hours, then escalate. If the Points are still missing after 24 hours, contact support. EA directs PlayStation players to PlayStation support.
Check whether your Points arrive in monthly drops
Some EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Plus and Ultimate Edition Points are delivered monthly rather than as one upfront balance. If your Points were included with one of those editions, check whether the amount you expected is scheduled for a later drop. This applies to edition-included Points; it does not explain a separately purchased Points bundle.
What to send support
Have the details EA requests ready so support can identify the purchase and the affected account:
- Proof of purchase from the store where you bought the Points.
- The persona or account name used on the affected platform: your EA ID, PlayStation account, or Xbox Live gamertag.
- The platform or console you used.
- The purchase date and time, including the time zone.
- The number of Points missing and any Points redemption code, if applicable.
- Other relevant details about the purchase or account.
EA’s general missing-content guidance also describes a Missing Content Tool for checking recent purchased Points on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is supplementary, platform-specific guidance; EA’s missing-Points instructions still begin with the transaction history, a game restart, and a service-status check.

Where Points purchases appear
EA says Points can be bought in-game, through a platform’s official store, or from trusted retailers. The correct transaction record depends on where you made the purchase, so check that original store rather than assuming the charge or Points will appear in a different account’s history. EA describes Points as optional digital currency for in-game uses such as Ultimate Team packs, Draft entries, Evolution slots, the Season Pass, and Clubs cosmetics. See EA’s guide to buying EA SPORTS FC Points for purchase-channel details.
Do not buy the same amount again until you have checked the original transaction. If the first purchase did complete, a second purchase could be unnecessary.
