A community-maintained list from June 26, 2019 records several issues players reported while the game was active, but it is historical evidence—not a list of bugs confirmed in a current version.
Can you still play Harry Potter: Wizards Unite?
No. WB Games Support says the game officially shut down on January 31, 2022. Because the service is no longer operating, restarting the app or changing device settings cannot restore access to the game.
Which bugs and issues were reported?
A community-maintained list dated June 26, 2019 described the following problems during the game’s active period. It was not an official issue tracker or a complete archive, and it does not establish that any issue remained unresolved later.
- Ministry ID and portrait errors: Some profile or portrait problems reportedly required restarting the game.
- Daily Assignments and Achievements not updating: In-progress tasks could fail to register until players restarted the app and checked again.
- Missing Registry Prestige prompts: Players could miss a prompt to Prestige a Registry page while its badge indicator remained visible.
- Asset download and storage messages: Downloads could fail to complete, or the app could incorrectly report that the device lacked storage.
- Titles and achievement badges not saving: Some titles or badges reportedly did not appear on the Ministry ID.
- Repeated “+1” display: After returning a Foundable whose image was already placed in the Registry, the display could show “+1” more than once.
What did the historical troubleshooting advice mean?
For certain task-tracking and profile symptoms, the 2019 list suggested restarting the game and checking again. It also described restarting in connection with some Ministry ID and portrait errors. That advice applied to a then-running game; it is not a fix for the shutdown. The reports do not support claims that reinstalling the app, changing device settings, or using another tool can bring the service back.

How to interpret old bug reports
The June 2019 community list is useful as a record of issues players described at the time, not as proof of their frequency, cause, or eventual resolution. The shutdown information comes from WB Games Support; the symptom list comes from a community source. Those sources answer different questions, and neither supports treating these reports as current faults.
