As of this article’s publication, we found player reports of login trouble but no official EA notice confirming an FC Mobile outage or an EA investigation. If the status page shows the service online and you still can’t sign in, the problem is more likely tied to your account or the identity provider you used to link it, and you can work through the checks below.
What is and isn’t confirmed
The headline phrase “EA investigates login and connectivity issues” needs care. EA’s server status page lists EA SPORTS FC Mobile and tells players who hit connection problems to check real-time status there. That page is the official place to look for a service-side problem. It is a live resource, though, and it changes quickly, so the reading you see when you check it is the one that counts.

Player posts on EA’s FC Mobile community forum describe login failures in plain terms. One thread is titled “What can i do – login failed error,” and another reads “Cannot log into Fc mobile.” Those posts show what players are experiencing. They do not establish how many people are affected, what caused the problem, or whether EA has responded to it.
We also did not find an official EA announcement naming a current FC Mobile login or connectivity incident, its start time, the platforms or regions involved, or an expected fix time. Until EA publishes one, treat claims of a confirmed EA investigation as unverified.
#1 Best Overall
Older EA investigations are a different matter. Search results can surface incident compilations about earlier FIFA console and PC releases. Those do not describe FC Mobile and should not be read as evidence about the current game.
Step 1: Check EA’s server status page
- Open EA’s Server status page on a browser, not inside the game, so the check does not depend on the app’s own connection.
- Find EA SPORTS FC Mobile in the list of services.
- Read the status it reports and note the time you checked it.
The result determines your next move:
| What the status page shows | What it means for you | What to do next |
|---|---|---|
| An interruption or outage for FC Mobile | The problem is on EA’s side. Changes to your device or network are unlikely to fix it. | Watch EA’s official channels for updates and retry later. Don’t reinstall or reset your account in the meantime. |
| Service online, but you still can’t log in | The service is up, so the failure is more likely account-specific or related to how you sign in. | Move to Step 2 and check your account access. |
| No clear status for FC Mobile | The page doesn’t settle the question. | Check EA’s FC Mobile news and official announcements, then retry the login after a while. |
Step 2: Check account access
A login failure can come from account access rather than the servers. Before you change anything, confirm that you can reach the email address tied to your game account. If you can’t, recover that email access first, because EA’s sign-in and recovery steps depend on it.
If you signed in through a linked third-party account, check that account as well. The EA support center covers mobile players whose accounts are linked to Facebook, Google Play, or Apple ID, and it advises securing that identity provider if you suspect your account has been compromised.
If you sign in with Facebook
- Log in to Facebook directly in a browser and confirm your password works.
- Review your recent login activity and any connected apps. Remove anything you don’t recognize.
- Turn on two-factor authentication if it isn’t already active.
If you sign in with Google Play
- Confirm you can sign in to the Google account that holds your Play Store library.
- Check the account’s security activity for unfamiliar devices or sign-ins.
- Change the password and enable 2-Step Verification if you suspect access by someone else.
If you sign in with Apple ID
- Confirm your Apple ID password works on an Apple device or at Apple’s account site.
- Review the devices signed in to your Apple ID and remove any you don’t recognize.
- Make sure two-factor authentication is on, and update your trusted phone number if it has changed.
If any of these checks shows that the account was accessed without your permission, secure the linked account first, then return to EA’s recovery steps. Doing it in the reverse order can leave the account open.
Fixes that aren’t supported for this issue
Many guides suggest clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, changing DNS settings, using a VPN, or resetting the network. None of these is backed by EA’s official guidance for the current login problem. If the status page shows an EA-side interruption, these steps won’t resolve it. If the status page is normal and your account is fine, you can still try a restart of the app or your device, but don’t expect it to fix a problem EA hasn’t acknowledged.
Don’t rely on any of the following until EA confirms them: an estimated time for a fix, a list of affected regions, a cause, or any compensation for players who lost progress. None has been published in an official notice we could find.
Current game context
EA’s official FC Mobile news archive lists the FC Mobile 27 update on September 24, 2026. That update is recent background for the game, but nothing we found connects it to the login errors. Treat it as context, not as a cause.
How to report the problem
If the status page and your account are both fine and you still can’t sign in, contact EA support through the EA help channels and include the exact error text, the time you tried, your device and operating system, and the sign-in method you use. Specific details like these help support teams separate a single-account issue from a wider problem.
Use “login failed” or “can’t log in” when you search, since those are the phrases players are using. Keep in mind that the phrase “FC Mobile down” describes what players are reporting, not an outage EA has confirmed.
