No outage fix tied to a current Rainbow Six Siege “servers connection error” is confirmed by the sources available for this article. The closest official entry is Ubisoft’s Y10S3.2 patch notes, dated September 30, 2025, which list a fix for players being disconnected from a session with a connection error during normal gameplay. That entry describes a past bug fix. It does not show that a live outage has been resolved or that servers are running normally today.
What the “[Outage fixed]” label can and cannot support
The headline implies that Ubisoft has resolved a specific outage. No matching official incident notice was found in the sources reviewed. That notice would normally give the date, the duration, the affected platforms and regions, and a resolution time. Without those details, a reader cannot tell which outage is meant, or whether it is still happening. Until a dated Ubisoft status post confirms the incident, treat “outage fixed” as unverified.
The Y10S3.2 fix: what Ubisoft actually said
Ubisoft’s Y10S3.2 patch notes, dated September 30, 2025, include this entry among the user-experience fixes:
“FIXED – Players are disconnected from the session with a connection error during normal gameplay”

- The Elite Edition includes: - Access to Quick Match, Unranked, and Dual Front game modes with a selection of operators - Access to competitive modes: Ranked playlists and Siege Cup* - Instant unlock of 16 additional operators
- Alternate between attack and defense, adapting your approach to operators and maps. Feel the thrill and intensity of the action as you leverage next-level destruction and gadgetry to outsmart your opponents in every round.
- Destruction is more than chaos: it is a key tool for your success. Use the environment to your advantage – turn walls into windows of opportunity.
- Engage in intense 6v6 battles, where attackers and defenders fight side by side and push to capture enemy sectors while defending their own.
- Access to Ranked and Siege Cup is unlocked at level 50. Dual Front mode is not supported on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
This is a fix for a bug that dropped players out of an active session. It applies to gameplay that was already underway. It is not a statement about matchmaking, login, or server availability, and the notes do not say that the bug recurs or has been fixed on every platform. Because the entry is nearly a year old as of October 2026, it should be read as historical context, not as a current status update.

- Open Ubisoft’s official service status information and look for an active or recent notice that covers Rainbow Six Siege. Note the timestamp and the platforms listed.
- If an incident is posted, follow its updates. Do not change local settings while the service is marked as having a problem, because the error will likely continue until Ubisoft resolves it.
- If no notice appears, check Ubisoft’s official support channels for reports of the same error from other players. A single report is not enough to confirm a wider outage.
- If service is reported as available but you still see the error, treat the problem as local to your connection or account and move to the troubleshooting steps below.
Why you may see a connection error during matchmaking
A third-party guide by Siemka on BO3.GG, dated March 10, 2026, discusses connection errors during match search. It attributes these failures, in general terms, to a set of possible causes. These are hypotheses from general troubleshooting, not Ubisoft’s diagnosis, and they do not explain any particular outage:
- Network routing problems between your connection and the game servers
- ISP restrictions on game traffic
- VPN connection problems
- Packet loss
- High ping
Only the individual player’s network data can show which of these applies in a given case.

Troubleshooting when service is reported as available
- Confirm that the error occurs on more than one attempt and note the time it started, so you can compare it with any status notice later.
- Turn off any VPN and try the game again. If the error stops, the VPN route is the likely cause, and you can keep it disabled while playing.
- Restart your router and modem, then restart the game. This clears stale connections but will not fix a server-side problem.
- Check for packet loss and high ping in your network tool or game overlay. Persistent high ping or loss points to your connection path rather than a general server issue.
- If the error continues on a wired connection with no VPN, contact Ubisoft support and include the time, platform, region, and any error text shown on screen.
Hardware and purchases are not a fix
No product has been shown to resolve this error. A new router, cable, or repair tool may be useful only if your own network data points to a problem with your local hardware. Buying equipment before checking Ubisoft’s status is unlikely to help with a server-side error.
